Only problem i have is LEVEL 1 si allready around 4500 rpm. Is there a way to set rpm lower? So you can have a level of around 2000 rpm? im using thinkpad x1 yoga gen 2

not sure if this is true of all T410s, but mine has a weird quirk where any significant shock on the corner nearest to the SSD causes the thing to completely shut off

meanwhile in 2024 I picked up a w541 with the i7 4910mq 32gb of ram the dedicated nvidia gpu for $200. still a great computer imo. even if it's not top of the line like it was back when it came out.

Wish the new thinkpads were just as durable, mine did take quite a beating over time but it doesn't seem like it could handle any harder hits

I was a cop for 30 years and I will rank the police cars I drove. 1983, Dodge St. Regis. Crap, no guts. 1985, Crown Victoria square body style. Good car, comfy and soft suspension. Kind of floated up and down. 1987 Dodge Diplomat, no acceleration but AC worked great. 1989 Chevy Caprice, fast car. Would get hot and AC would not blow cold air while idle. Had to keep moving. 1993 Ford Crown Victoria, new round body style. OK. 1996 Chevy Caprice. Vette engine, would get up and fly. Still would run hot in summer. 1998 to 2005 back and forth between Ford and Chevy 2006 Dodge Charger. Fast, AC worked good. Because of slopping rear window, tough to see behind when backing up. Blind Spots. Stayed with Chargers for a while then Switched to Ford Explorers with all wheel drive. I retired in 2015. Did not drive Dodge Durangos. I think the later Ford Crown Victoria were the better cars. Tough and dependable.

The CPUs are 64-bit Ulta Sparc, which is an advanced version of ARM, NO VIDEO ON THE CPU CARDS, they are all please shut up and do talk as all you do is show your ignorance!!! The Box is a frigen beast! this was the the badest box on the block. Why talk about something that you no nothing about, one more about the CPU cards each CPU has really two processors, on on the CPU which does the heavy stuff, and and FPU (floating Point Unit) on the silicon next to the CPU (not on the same die.) They could run headless mode! that handle is nothing to do with mounting when you take some screws out you now can pull out the Power Unit, its very heavy. hence the handle.

The Z61m is a pretty nice machine, mine has basically the max config that you could get it in at the time.

google shuold put the google play store in cloud ready , sof ree for anyone to download and burn on a usb to install on any most laptops and desktops, no excuses otherwise, ever!

I personally bought a lot of 2 A1181 MacBooks, one black 2008, and one white 2009, for US$45. Only the black one ended up being usable, but it has 4GB RAM, has the newer wifi card from the 2009, and also has a 1TB SSD which was handed down from my 2012 MacBook Pro. Runs really well, even using the OS X Mountain Lion patch.
