For people who are not comfortable opening it, is it ok to use a can of compressed air? Like every 6 months? Suggestions?

Hello sir, it looks like the vent in the middle of the laptop is the laptop fans Intake vent right? so where is the Output vent?
@orionverduijn55393 жыл бұрын
Never mind! Case has been officially solved, the grate in the middle back of the laptop isn't a ventilation grate, it's actually just a grate that's been sealed of with plastic if you look inside, just realized the Output vent is literally in between the Intake vents ^_^

I removed it in my office laptop. Dell support telling you to keep it is borderline negligent. It has not FIXED the overheating issue but it has drastically improved it. The laptop HAS NO AIRFLOW if that cover is in place.

@@richardrao7091 It's late, but I'll answer. No, he will not be able to dissipate the heat... I have this laptop with i5 1035g1 and mx230, processor 97 degrees, graphics card 84+, I do not advise... It is better to take either a minimum model or another laptop (asus, lenovo, acer)

@@innocentflesh422 is it continuously hitting this much temperature when gaming??
@innocentflesh4224 жыл бұрын
@@dilumjayasinghe9031 Yes, only the throttlestop app helps, otherwise the CPU temperature will always be 90-100 degrees and the notebook will be hot. By the way, the temperature of the video chip is blocked at 75 degrees, if you want less frequency reset, use asus tuning utility (approximate name), you can set up to 85.

I think remove or replace the FAN, have no chance to damage any component on the motherboard , so it is not necessary to remove the battery.

Probably not, but everyone complains at me when I do any of these videos and leave the battery connected. It does mitigate the risk of accidentally powering up the system with no fan attached.
