Both bracket retention screws on mine were very tight. Make sure you have a screw driver with a larger handle with a great head. Cloned my new Samsung hard drive with Samsung migration software free off their site. I also got the hardware to connect the new drive for cloning from Amazon, USB 3 connection. Very easy. Great information I have dell i3910. I want to mount my 3.5 drive from my prior computer with all my files. What size and style of mounting bracket should I purchase and where would I install it in the case? There seems to be 1 sata slot and power connector available . Thank you Lowell

You won't need one. A 3.5 inch drive can be mounted up against the front of the case with screws after removing the front face panel. You can see where the drive can be installed in this video. Also, If you look at the inside of the front panel itself after removing it, you can see there's a diagram of how it can be fitted.

I installed my new SSD. The BIOS sees the new drive. I initialized the new drive in BIOS. I formatted the new drive in BIOS. I booted up the WIN10 install USB The windows installer does not see the new ssd. !

You need to go to Disk Management to initialize the new SSD
