One thing that may also help is just going to your "Device Manager" in your windows menu, look for "Batteries" near the top, find the Battery and the Battery controllers, "Uninstall" by right clicking, and uninstall them. Afterwards reboot your computer, and you may have a fix. I reset my memory and BIOS and had this issue, I rebooted (with charged Battery in, no power cable) and it booted fine.

At 1:35, the bare metal contacts on the laptop charging port are evidence that the insulating tip of the charge port is broken off. If you continue to attempt to charge it the laptop motherboard or charger could be damaged

@Marc Martha: Open the laptop and mesure the votage on charging port with charging cable plug if you get 19V on charging port you have good charging port. You can measure the MOSFETs main problem for not power on is from burn mosfets.MOSFETs help make up the VRM (voltage regulator module), which controls how much voltage other components on the motherboard, like the CPU or graphics card, receive. if you mesure no voltage to one of these componets you need to check you mosfets.

After watching this video I am none the wiser. I can see that the two charging ports look different. It wasn’t clearly explained. Was the battery faulty or was the charger faulty? Not even that is clear.

Replace your battery fixes the issue accordingly to this video. So if this is true and i am sitting with a Dell which powers on with no display and the ram has been changed and nothing boots up even after taking out the battery and have the exact same battery blinking issue (4 Amber 1 White) it will solve this issue? Bull shit.

@@PoovendranShiva Hi no, i work for a company and i ran into this issue. But you cant always believe everything you say cause sometimes there is a trick to everything. SInce i changed positions i havent delt with any laptops so never bothered futher to get it fixed. Sorry bud.

Deepak Ghare It looks like your battery is gone. Maybe you need a new one but before you can try this: Remove power lead 🔌, remove battery 🔋. Hold the power button for 30-40 seconds. After that add the battery and plug the power lead. If this doesn't help try to remove Microsoft ACPI driver from device manager. If your battery is old may be is gone. Did you check if you plug is fine like I showing on the video?
