Andriy, thank You so much. I have exactly the same laptop and have decided to try to give it a new life ( потомучто грелся гадина безбожно :D ) Now my proc is clean and I'm preparing to go to shop to buy thermal paste. Greetings from Lithuania!

@@AndriyTech Well, it still doesn't work properly- after 15 min its became too slow. This laptop is very old. I have bought it used and use probably about 5 years. Ok, I did it for conscience sake. :)

@@Neotomux I recently found this laptop in my loft(attic). I've setup a home media server using it and it works just fine Try installing a lighter OS, putting an SSD in and upgrading the RAM. In the UK, I bought a 1tb SSD for £50 (new) and 8GB of 1600Mhz Samsung RAM for £11.78 Something like popOS (linux, but almost Windows like), or Phoenix Windows 10 to be even lighter on resources Currently, I'm running my own VPN, jellyfin, radarr, sonarr, bazarr, a torrent client, deemix (deezer), and this little, old i5 dell is doing a really good job. I'm impressed

Do you know by any chance how to clear the BIOS admin password? Or at least the IC in the board that stores the info and if by grounding it can be cleared?
