what is the green thing there? and where I can get one of it? and I have a problem when I replace the thermal paste and add a new one my graphics card (nvs 4200) now doesn't work it appear on the desktop and control panel for nvidia is working but In games it just use the integrated graphics card and the laptop now got really laggy sometimes or open some games and the only way to fix the lag is by restart it can you help me?

There is a 0.7 mm gap between the GPU and the cooler, no paste or pad will do, you need to put a 0.7 mm copper or silver plate between the GPU and the radiator. Check the gap by putting a ball of plasticine on the GPU and then install the cooler, remove and measure the thickness of the crushed plasticine.

I don't replace thermal pads. I just reuse what's there. I don't measure them.

Hi, quick question... I want to change my palmrest ... So, before replacing the palmrest.. We need to remove optical driver and hard drive driver... Does removing this HDD will effect my data or software or another complications ?

It won't affect as long as you put it all back after. Make sure the computer is off

It's a company laptop... So, it's contains data and vpn access... So, does it effect after replacing palmrest(when off) and turn on laptop... Do I find any changes?

No bitlocker.... It's like a normal laptop only.. We need to connect to cisco security vpn... So, while removing hard drive driver... Does this apps or software gets delete or my login password will change?

Doing it this way I burned the graphics card in this laptop, no paste or pad could cool the graphics card like the original paste, only putting a 0.7 mm silver ballast solved the problem, of course with 7.5 W/mK paste.

Should be the max you can get. I don't do specs though, but most are SATA 3. I just repair them, not spec them.
