I have all the screws out but I cannot get the back cover off. I have pulled, pried, and done everything but break it. The top, or battery end lifts right up. But the bottom is stuck. edit: I had to take a plastic hammer and pound on the back driving it to the stuck end.

I just took out my hard drive from my laptop but when i put it back one screw won’t go in and it says no hard drive detected could someone pls help me

I had the exact same problem. Turns out the drive seemed to seat but it didn’t. It went all the way in but was missing the socket. I discovered this after pulling the back off and observing the seating operation. Once I seated it properly, the 4 screws then tightened properly.
