Both the lid, bottom, and chassis are made of aluminum alloy, not plastic. The lid is full aluminum.

Chippy how difficult is it to replace the Hard Drive/SSD/RAM etc. if needed?If it's for business as Dell suggests, it should be easily accessible. Great overview.
