I cry every time I hear this. My Nana & Grandpa couldn’t have children & they adopted two children. My Uncle was fine with it, my Mother didn’t unfortunately. She was adopted in 1956, the law changed in 1960. So she didn’t know anything. My Mother had abandonment issues. I actually traced her biological mother for her. Our troubles stem from her adoption. With Story, it’s such a heart felt union, like they were just meant to be together. I’m very close to my Grandmother who basically raised me due to my mothers issues. Fine with boys but it was too close to home with me I guess. I asked my Nana lots of questions, took the time to listen to her. My Uncle & my mum were her missing pieces that made her whole. Adoption used to be for all the wrong reasons, now it can be amazing. The whole subject just gets me crying. I just love this family & I so wish all the best as they grow up.
