Great review mate, we are waiting for our DeLonghi to arrive and we are even.more excited about this Coffee Machine after watching your review..We recently bought a Spector coffee Machine and had nothing but problems with it ,from the day it arrived.We bought it online and had to go through so much drama getting a refund.. Hi just asking, when im trying to extract ground coffee, i noticed theres some water coming out as well, and the finished product on porta was soaked with water is this normal or it has something to do with the settings thanks

anyone can answer the below for me I got this model. a. I cant get crema in espresso. I am doing single shot as I am making for myself. Grind setting tried was 5 and 3 with doze level 15 b. I cant make a foamy cappucino out of it. Texture is same as tea.

Hi. Enjoyed the review. I have the delonghi dedica which is smaller than this one and I was looking to upgrade to something a little better. My budget is around 5-700 usd are there any other espresso machines that are similar in features/ price to this one that you could recommend that i could check out. Thanks.

The Sage Barista Express is another one not too far off this price. I have both the La Specialista and the Barista Express and I can say they are very similar machines, the De Longhi comes with more equipment and in my opinion a better look and better price, but the Sage offers a better grinder. I’d say that the De Longhi is more justified for being better priced, and would be a good upgrade from the Dedica. I think I bought my la specialista for 500€ and the Barista Express for 650€ for a very similar machine.

Just got my machine and when grinding using 30 with A grind setting of 2 the portafiller was full to the top With my previous Dedica machine I found an 11 second grind was adequate for a double shot. Guess I have to play around starting at say grind size 4 with a time of 15 seconds and see how that turns out. My first espresso was on the bitter side so not sure why that was. Love the video and my new machine

Great video, great review. I saw the productreviews and this midel has the best review of all midels that are available in AU retailers from $200 to $3500 mark. One thing that I didnt quiet catch in this video was that can you brew and steam at ghe same time make it quicker?

You cannot clean the grinder properly - it’s the only model you can’t remove the burrs or clean it at all for the lifetime of the machine! 🤮

Why they make all coffee machines with very small room for cups not room for bigger cups i have to use two cups, one small cup for the coffee then change it to a bigger cup and put the milk all separately and the frother too short

This is a mashine for those who want to spend a lot of money thinking it can prepare good coffee. Unfortunately, it cannot. Delonghi ECP makes even better drinks for much lover price. For good coffee you need a good micrometric grinder and temperature stability.

I think you use too much water, I mean it seems an espresso you drink everywhere but in Italy. Besides, too many maneuvers. Everything should be simpler and quicker

I received an email to call customer service about my bad review. Of course the number was to someone that couldn't do anything but offer me a 20% off coupon! Why would I ever want a 20% coupon for another Delonghi product???. She asked if I had a reference number or anything. Of course the email they sent me was automated and no why to link it to my review. Why would they? They don't really care to help me in anyway or they would have left a number to talk to someone about the review I left. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. The lady couldn't even spell my name right and of course we got disconnected. Delonghi's response to any review that is bad is fake as their customer service. I live in one of the largest cities in the USA and would had to drive or mail my unit over 3 1/2 hours from where I live to the only authorized service center in all of Florida! The customer service couldn't even give me a service provider in the county of Broward County Florida! BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ONE!!! I tried calling every coffee place from Fort Lauderdale to Miami and nobody would work on it, or even look at it. I am done with Delonghi and all their products FOREVER! I will make sure I post it on all the media outlets I can, of my experience. WORSE PURCHASE I EVER MADE Purchased this machine in 9/2019. Had to send back to have it worked on twice. Thank God it was under warranty for 3 years. They even had to replace the tray, frother sliding plastic housing that slides up for no foam and down for foam and the grinder. Warranty just expired in 9/2022 and of course it is falling apart again. Needs gaskets replaced, the grind control knob made of cheap plastic broke off and I maybe have set the grind twice since I have owned the machine. The housing starting coming apart and this machine is never moved. I am bringing my 9 YEAR OLD BREVILLE BARISTA back home from the office in place of the LA SPECIALISTA. I have never had a problem with the Breville machine. Guess I will take the La Specialista to a small appliance repair to see if it is even worth fixing. If not, in the trash it goes. I love the look of it and was hoping it would last for more than 3 years. Quality in my opinion is really poor!

@@KebabEater I went ahead and ordered the DeLonghi. I had seen a couple things about longevity issues with both the DeLonghi Specialita Arte and the Breville Express. Glad to know yours is working well!
