It's a nice machine, I haven't regretted the swap at all and I've had my creatista going on 2 years.

Hi, i was literally looking everywhere for this comparison. i just have a question about the creatista: if i want to make Cappuccino, can i froth the milk at first before making the espresso/coffee? I have seen everywhere that with the creatista, the milks gets ready AFTER the espresso shot is already in the cup. So you end up getting coffee flat white

yes you can - there's a number of different programs to choose from including coffee only and milk only ones and you can then even vary the heat and foam level of the milk and the volume of the coffee. I sometimes make percolator coffee and just use the milk function on the creatista.

Nice work. Thanks you! Leaning towards Latissima. Can you elaborate more on ‘warm’ coffee with Latissima. Is it like coldish warm? I would hate that! Coffee should be slightly hot.. bearable to sip!

Thanks - I’ve found that if you preheat the cup the lattissima will give you coffee that’s borderline too hot, but if you don’t it will be drinkable straight away (but will go cold if you leave it awhile). Letting the milk heat up a bit before brewing helps as well but you can’t put pre-warmed milk in the carafe as the steaming system doesn’t like it and the texture gets all wrong.
