So how long do they last? With what usage? Any rivet failures?

@Deloached I got the exact same brand and model that you got. But mine came in the same box with all the parts to attach it that were missing with yours. It would seem that in your order, somebody forgot to include all the parts needed to attach it. Thats not the product itself at fault, but rather the packaging of the product for shipping. Human error.

@@neomaxim3529 hey mate, I still like it and use it often. The resistance is easily changed by adding or removing water. It’s held up well.

Very good review! Telling the truth about the E38. These cars were the pinnacle of engineering. Built to last and very reliable. BMW spent a lot of time and money developing this masterpiece and they really did succeed. The car was exceptionally comfortable, very refined with that solid bank vault like quality! Certainly the King of the road!

It looks like somebody screwed you when they shipped it. They seem to have left out the plastic zip bag with the tools and mounting kit mine came with. However, I blindly ordered mine which presented more issues. My 2 stroke scrub cutter has a 6 spline rather than the 10 spline this kit has. And then, I'm beginning to lose faith in it after seeing the performance issues you're having. So, do I buy the new scrub cutter with a 10 spline to suit the wire kit? Or do I continue sitting down everytime the line breaks off? 😆 🤣 😂

I have a new gas weed wacker There's a shaft that comes out of it with threads on the inside of it. And my new chin typehead, just like yours, has threads on the inside of it. I need A adapter or screw To connect them together In other words, both shafts are smooth. And threads on the inside.. Do you know anything about it?

@@MIFnc12367a I think it’s because the descaling attachment is still attached. When you remove it the light goes away.

I've just bought one but haven't used it yet, I like you didn't like the look of those rivets holding the blades. So I replaced them with stainless steel button head bolts and nylock nuts they are much safer. Oh I might add those rivets came out easy doesn't say much for how secure they weren't.

My first thought when seeing these on the internet- that head rotating at high speed - rivets aren’t enough - if one of those little blades come flying off it will be like a bullet - injury or death of user or passerby.
@davidgriffiths76963 ай бұрын
Great review, did it last or did the plate buckle and twist, the rivets wear and loosen, or the blades fly off? I use the metal head and 2 separate helical plastic line insert, can chew through most stuff except hard woody material lines last about an hour on average including chopping up some woody annual shrubs and briars. It’s about half way between ordinary trimmer line and the normal brush cutter head in cutting/flailing ability. I know it’s safe, apart from the usual occasional missiles that fly up from ground/vegetation.

Please take note people, I'm not a gardeners A hole but I've been a metal worker for 40 years and we use those wire brushes on our angle grinders. While they are very effective, they are extremely dangerous. Those thousands of wires ware out after a while and when they decide to leave the center of the armature they leave at very high speed and not only do they stick into your clothes and skin, but if you don't have goggles on they can go deeply into your eyes. They are NOT a beginners tool. Ask your local doctor how many times they've heard about people getting these wires in their eyes. Like I said, effective , but potentially dangerous. Of course the manufacturers won't say that. I saw a guy that put some cable ties, or zip ties depending on where you're from on this trimmer and it worked good enough for him, so just think about it.

That lag isn’t a bug it’s an intentional inclusion by bmw as during that time period bmw was going throw a resection and didn’t have the funds to make a rear diff that could handle the power output off line. So the lag was implemented to help protect the rear diff
