As of now I’m not 100% sure. I got very little history when I bought this car. I know I’m the 2nd owner. I believe the first owner had it painted but I don’t have any documentation yet.

​@@mrnobodysgarageI noticed throughout your videos, certain areas like behind the bottom gravel guard or "ground effects" along the bottom rocker were red. Either the shop that painted this DeLorean did a thorough job removing panels before painting or perhaps this was done at the factory. Almost seems like they would have a special letter in the VIN as well to denote custom paint or non-stainless finish. I love this car and so do countless others who have seen it. No need to over decorate, but it's your car and you can choose how you want to customize.

On the shock tower, heat it up with an oxy-acetelyne torch and finesse back into place with a proper hammer, then weld the tear. Awesome car by the way. I wish I had a real one, but I have a blue one on GTAV.

Dont put vinyl on it. Spend your time getting every panel gap perfect. Then paint it ferrari red.
