One thing that is constantly happening around us is change, seasons change, weather changes, people change, some find these constant changes hard to deal with and it shows in the comments here. Well guys, I have been watching this channel since around 40,000 subscribers, a while now. The music is always cool and I really don't mind your opening tune changing, you could use something else, people would get used to it.You keep an old pensioner feeling younger and I feel part of your experience so you do something right. Captain Mike Hawaii agreed, some things should not change. Watching Delos these days is like watching one of your mates holiday videos!! There’s sailing channels out there with 10k subs that have better content. People watch Delos for the round the world sailing and boat fixing etc... It’s felt like watching people too old to be at spring break! PLEASE PLEASE get back sailing somewhere crazy!! I say back into the Pacific and explore some crazy islands with no one around.

Captain Mike Hawaii has zero Aloha, Fake fair-weather fan and a fake fair-weather sailor for sure. Why Delos doesn't block some of these obvious haters I'll never know, totally ruins the vibe of the channel. Having an opinion and giving feed back is one thing, running around replying to every positive comment and telling them they are wrong and Delos sucks is another. Makes people not want to comment at all for fear of getting bullied by a handful of very outspoken trolls here to destroy the Delos Tribe.

Everyone will have their opinion but this whole channel is dedicated to following THEIR journey. Let them do what they want with it and run it how they want. I struggle embracing change and I haven't settled in to these new videos yet (I miss the origional opening tune really!) Let the videos settle out, they have handed over the creativity to their new crew and it is different and not the original Delos, is it the permanent future of Delos, no, but should we hammer them for letting someone new have a go and take the rains? Definitely not. I have laughed and even shed a tear at some of the Delos videos, I have been following their adventures for a long time now, and they have changed a lot over that time. Sometimes the winds change with time and you need to tack onto your true course. Nothing in life is plain sailing!

So I've watched every Delos episode since the beginning. Seven years plus sailing, filming and content production...the Delos crew has come a long long way! Somehow they have truly nailed the ability to match that of the paid professionals. I'm saying us viewers are spoiled and should just chill, letting them all do their thing. I have watched Delos since their days in Australia, which is virtually since the beginning and I have seen crew members come and go. All of those crew members have been allowed time to integrate and learn and a great part of the enjoyment of watching has been seeing them develop and grow to be a part of the Delos crew. I am absolutely amazed that there is so much vitriol from subcribers and viewers of this channel recently, especially as most of you are enjoying the journey for free. Lighten up and give people a chance and do what we all do and sit back and enjoy the adventure.

That feeling of total freedom. That sense of the infinite expanse of the open ocean really comes through on the videos on that first passage in a long while. Then during watch at night, that vibe of ensconed refuge at the helm and within the hull of the vessel against the whistling, threatening darkness in black and white is palpable. This kind of mystery and awe of the vast unknown expanse of the sea is what sets these videos apart from all others.

I am still watching and looking for more. Things have changed but Delos will pull through. I have questioned in my mind the new crew mates based on prior you-tube videos, not because they are not nice folks but rather the added value. After this video I think they can add value and can be an asset. But the core crew needs to take charge not hand off the content to someone else.

Delos crew- I think your new season is great, I can see not everyone agrees but, I'm encouraging you to hang in there like Bob Dylan did when he went from Folk to Rock in the '60s. Lot's of people criticized but, you are your own artist and steer your own ship (HA!- get it?) I could tell immediately that the new crew had edited this one (great vid) because of how many shots of the sails made the final cut. haha I wonder, do the normal crew (Brian, Brady, Kazza and Blu) still get mesmerized by sails full of wind? Second comment on the intro music. Fail. The old music was your channel 100%! If you look back at all the greatest shows ( for the last 30 years) that made it, thier intro music never changed. Mash!!! etc etc!!! There is a huge amount of award winning shows and they never change there intro music but did the vid side! Delso??? Don't have any problem with change. It's life. But one must stay the same!!!! History and human feelings prove it. The intro music you had was you and your channel!!! Sounded so good!!! Now, not so much. Havent seen product placement before. You didnt need to change the openning tune to keep it fresh. I got a warm feeling everytime i heard it. Not so much now. Its like changing your brand recognition. Ive missed a few, .need my vitamin Delos. Its always good. Drenched add a little something too. And oh yes, Nat does that seductive voice over. I Like it, like it a lot. they were good with Capt. Rick too, cant understand the negative reviews here. But guys, when are we going to see a Drenched boat of your own? Its good to have occasional guest crew on Delos. Got to add something. People seem very fast to criticise minor changes in production, its been so good for so long people, give them a break. Maybe they had to rush this one? Just shows how on the ball Delos has to be to maintain their top spot setting the standard on the sailing genre. Must be exausting. Very cool to show off the full face mask with comms. Had to check out its details, amazing that its using HAM radio like SSB to transmit audio though water. Would love to experiment with these or try to make my own as HAM radio stuff is open source. Will have to check further if anything special was added to the signal. Now just waiting to see if you get a chance with some good weather in the next episode. that's very cool that you got all your toys packed away on board and ready to go when needed plus crew and food.

Lots of armchair quarterbacks throwing the new crew under the bus, and in the last 2 Delos video edits I'm having a real hard time not joining the bandwagon. While I don't think the Delos Vibe or channel are in jeopardy, I do have to agree that the Drenched editing style is not what we viewers/patrons have grown to enjoy about Delos. Kiril, Lisa, Blue, and Lizbef have shown different tastes of editing than Brian, Senor, and Kazza. But they seemed to add to the style. From these 2 videos (and as much as I could swallow of Drenched's channel), the Drenched way is following all the trendy BS channels that are short choppy clips with bits of slow mo. It gives everything an edgy, slightly selfish, and "too cool for you" vibe that has not been present with Delos. And I, too, would not have expected a blurry selfie sunrise monologue to make the cut. Nate and Jordan seem like nice enough adventurous and kind people. They were fairly cool on Capt Rick's boat. Their time on SLV was...meh. I hate to admit it but I completely agree. It's not the same. Delos has their own style its what makes Delos. Nothing against Jordan? I think that's her name. Her attitude is like shes on TV or something. Shes super nice dont get me wrong. It just doesn't feel like Delos.
