Good look at Delphi's DS150 OBD-II scan tool. I like how it has some bi-directional controls. Looks like a good tool to have in the box.

Hi, Can you please confirm me following (regarding Delphi DS150e Bluetooth with single board): 1- It will handle which functions for Mercedes car year 1999, CDi diesel, shape W210, with 38 pin connector? 2- Will it reset Toyota Prius 2007 ABS system? Thanks

Hi I already have one of these tools and found it to be very useful however it doesn't want to link to my astra j. Have you ever tried to link to a vauxhall ? I've had no trouble linking to Renault's and Honda's. The tool is about four years old. Cheers Tony.

Hi I have a delphi tool think most vehicles it works but I tried on corsa c 2006 two cars same model had a problem but it did pick up on like the dashboard instruments only could do the check engine light. I noticed with like 2008 corsa it reads ok.

Hi, I am looking for a screen-less diagnostic scanner to Read and Erase codes in a detailed depth level like Autel DS708, I want to buy Chines version of Delphi DS150 PRO. 1- Is there any link on the internet which can explain Chines Delphi DS150 PRO's Full Special Functions? 2- Can you please tell me that how you will rank/compare Delphi DS150 PRO (as far as Special Functions are concerned) with any Launch and/or Autel models? 3- Is there any better screen-less scanner in market which can handle all special functions (at least top 10 functions) and can do bi-directional communication with the ECU?

hi mainly peugeot volvo and alfa romeo when you say coverage can be patchy will it not communicate with some cars? thanks for advice p.s think i had actually called you last week regarding your scanner small world!

tony pond yes was it about Verus? it will communicate with most cars but if it hasn't got manufacturers specific it puts u into generic obd, never tried it on Alfa but worked on pugs and Volvo not older but new ones yes, can also use interface with Wow software which can be really good on Mercedes and BMW

tony pond that's too expensive go for £80 coverage can be patchy but to be honest so are professional scan tools, what car/cars is it for? sandy

Hi Sandy Thanks for this clear instructional video. It helped me a lot. First time I have ever used a car diagnostic obd2 tool. It worked on my Corolla 1.4 ( year 2000). My mum has a Golf mk4 PD TDI ( year 2002). Recently, she had a overheat cond. in traffic, but had sense to switch off engine when engine temp. needle went into red. I found that the 40A fusible link was blown which I replaced and radiator fans started to work again. Using Delphi pulled the code 17664 Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor open/ short circuit to positive Intermittent. I will clear code and see if comes back, but given age of car I will replace ECTS. I'm not sure that ECTS actually controls radiator fans ( maybe it controls needle on dash temp. gauge). From what I have been able to research ( Scanner Danner Jetta video with wiring diagram of cooling circuit), it is the fan switch which screws into the radiator which controls both of the 2 speed fans.

I'll check wiring diagram later but what I recall VW used to have two sensors for coolant one blue and one brown in the head, did u check the pump is working confirm it by removing coolant cap and see if water is pumped out of top hose into it with engine running, sandy

I tried doing the ''ISS'' but when I press start it just starts searching for the system and it never ends, I sat in my car 10 minutes just to see if it was going to do anything but it was just stuck searching for the system, please help

on Toyota it won't pick any engine tried 9 cars its working on abs and airbag only

hi my pal has the real delphi it needs updating i reckon piate software, i used it on my 2010 insignia to relean dpf pressure sensor. it also pointed to problem area. i changed boost hose and then it went in to limp mode used the delphi and rockets along now. I too would like to know how good this one is. if it is like the real thing would use over autel any day
