Pleasantly surprised by the food at the Black Horse! Next time I eat there I'll check out the Bank Bar.

I enjoy seeing the old neighbor hood. When I go thru I can still remember what it was like in the 70's. Man has it changed, such a same

I highly recommend the birria tacos at Black Horse Cantina. As a bonus, after you eat, you can leave your car parked there for an hour or so while exploreing Delray!

Good call, Pinetop! I'm normally on a bike when I'm in Delray, but I'll note that for the future. The food is spectacular!

I've been past there so many times. I used to work on Clark St. and I live downriver. I preferred my 'scenic route' of W Jefferson over the Fisher any day. This was during the Angels of Delray days, with some really neat artwork displayed.

There are still a few angels hanging around, Mary Jo! There's one at the Carbon Athletic Club and another on the commercial block at Jefferson and Cary. I know where there's a stack of them...but I'll hold onto that info for now 😂 I'd love to see them make a comeback.

@@ThisBuildingMatters I lived near there for a couple years, at Luther and Denmark. And my dad used to bring home kolbász from the Hungarian butcher in Delray. But I don't know about the Angels of Delray. Maybe you could do an episode on that.

Great job! I really appreciate the research you do to provide a historical perspective and bring these old buildings to life. I really hope some entrepreneur will take you up on renovating them!

Thanks for checking it out! 🤙 I hope that we see more of these places saved in the next five years or so. We're very close to losing another round of awesome buildings!

I know its a sketchy spot but this reminds me of the Guardian Detroit bank on Burt and Fenkell on the west side. Beautiful building

I spent a fair amount of time in Delray and have never had an issue. Honestly, I rarely even see people when I'm documenting things in Delray. Just big rigs 😂 On foot, by bike, or in a car, it's never an issue! Thanks for checking out the video 🤙
