Always a good idea to bend them 3.5mm lugs in at the top & bottom as they can get in the way a damage the insulation on the cable in the boxes with less depth.

If that single socket not in use under the sink, would it not been better to just make that socket a joint and put a blank faceplate on, less change of water getting into the socket terminals , just a thought Del , keep up the good work, love your videos.

Three 13A sockets off a 13A fuse sounds like a recipe for a series of blown fuses when they're running a patio heater and the dishwasher comes on. And damn that's some janky pointing.

Great video Delroy. Thanks once again. New sub from a month ago. Just going through your videos. Awesome 💪💪💪 Does the foam/glue need to be fireproof as per a CU and what foam/glue did you use? Please if you would 🙏🙏🙏 Or was it just for IP protection and to keep the IP rating of the box up to its spec?? Keep at it my friend. 💪💪💪 Best regards, Scott. ✌️🙏✌️

HI, can anyone tell me where to get the Mains Isolator Switch with RCD shown at 1:33 in this video?
@Ad-gn8pl3 жыл бұрын
You've got the meter on the right and rewireable box on the left. In the middle of them is the RCD, it looks like an isolator (and in effect it is). So the RCD is external to the CU but protects the CU.
@no_short_circuit3 жыл бұрын

First day at college the tutor asked "who here is left handed"? Two guys put their hands up. "One of you will probably die" the tutor snapped. "That's abit strong ain't it?" I asked "Well if they touched a live circuit with their left hand the electricity will travel through their heart 'on the left' to their feet wouldn't it? So statistically they're more likely to croak it" Happy to be a righty I thought 😉😊
