Saying Delta Force is the "Chinese version of Battlefield" is honestly a complement at this stage. It doesn't take a genious to realise there is a big empty shelf of games like Battlefield, this is what we need right now. In reality these "clone/killer" games do die off after a while, I wouldn't say BattleBit was really a BF competitor but that game came and went. If XDefiant can survive and have its own community after Black Ops 6 releases then I'm sure Delta Force has a promising future, but all that is all too early to tell.

Depending how well this game plays, it could be an insult to it to compare it to BF 2042 :D I agree with Neon, 2016 was the last good BF title.

@@DanPyjamas Judging by gameplay, it looks better than 2042, but watching and playing are different, so who knows how it can go between now and the playtest. I personally enjoy a lot of aspects of BF5, but as a whole yeah 2016 seems like it was the last time BF was generally good.

@@Nitroh- yes that's what I mean. If it plays as well as I hope it does, then comparing it to 2042 would be a disservice to Delta force. As you suggest, time will tell :)

I don't think the copying is as bad as some people make it out to be. There's only been one developer making a sandbox fps game with vehicles in a modern setting that is successful. and that's dice, but they don't own the rights to that type of game and if other devs want a successful model on how to make a sandbox fps game and it's going to look alot like battlefield and team jade( delta force devs) know this. they also know their future player base and if they change the battlefield formula to much to make delta force a unique game on the market it would lose all appeal in the battlefield community therefore losing it's player base before it launches but it's only possible through dice's consistent incompetence and unwillingness to give the battlefield community what it wants. TLDR dice's recent games have been ass, plus dice doesn't own the rights to a sandbox fps game with vehicles.and delta force knows it's future player base and is obviously going to copy what they like. To try compete with battlefield by giving it's community what it wants

And people bring politics into it. saying they won't touch it because it's made by a Chinese developer and is subject to CCP observation if they want your information they can probably get it anywhere and for people that saw the tos and that it requires a ID confirmation if you look in the fine print that was only in regions that required it by law

i hope they will JUST change the color/icon design of some elements like when taking Objective its just BF2024 even the same color lol,also the Big Map b4 u spawn it is also same as BF, i mean just a bit of retouch of these icons and elements would make the game even better and safer

There are a few things I don't like about Delta Force, the big thing being the Operators aka Speclists. I'm tired of hero shooters and just want to play as a regular soldier that I can customize with military cosmetics, nothing goofy. Specialists in 2042 was a big turn off for me. Other things about Delta Force that I'm not liking are more trivial. Things like the base sprinting animation, it looks identical to CoD. No real blood splatter screen effects like BF4 and other games had. I am really hoping this game has 120fps support for console! Excited to play it as it definitely looks miles better than 2042, just by the art style alone.

It’s a bf2042 theme game made in China free to play, but has cod mw 2019 style graphics than frostbite engine, I’m excited its a game I’m excited to move away from 2042 and looks way better and doesn’t look as broken on a alpha version compared to 2042s alpha, I hope for a good launch a lot of content to keep me occupied

I'm literally hyped for this game, cant wait to play it. If it suceeds, then its a big ass reality check for EA, since its the first time someone made a good (or dare I say better) version of battlefield.

Commented this on levelcap's video so i'll drop it here aswell. I'm not that knowledgeable about this but here are some points i'm pretty sure are accurate, at least what i've heard. Very similar thing happened with Tarkov and Arena Breakout and i think the same thing applies, even if they took "inspiration/copied", if the lines and dots on the 3d model, UI, animations aren't a exact copy 1 to 1, i think Dice/EA can't really do anything about it. They are on 2 complete different engines aswell so the code is most likely very different, even if they took some code they would have to change it so it could run on their engine. Tencent backing vs EA/Dice would've been a fun battle though. (Also the Delta game is very good, hopefully Dice can step it up next time)

Honestly screw dice, they screwed so many people on launch and charged full price for a pathetic excuse of a game, it only started being decent after a year, it never ran properly had so much missing content that almost everyone I knew stopped playing it after the first week it came out

Man , omg you said every single word that i felt towards the bs of dice and how they were manupelating their fans to get more fans from other fps compatitors... made them lose the game identity... And how they released the game in a very bad status not showing score or servers , putting you in empty servers , forcing you to play configurated servers which is not the best experience... Even the second worst thing that i wish i would never see the marvel charcters again from dice... i do not know but it feels disgusting ic you are an old fan like me... who like a eeal military stuff with accurate skins in an arcade world!!!! Dice from a long time had balanced this equation and managed it very good... their games look3d amazing... destruction accurate vehicles , real world places with real world weapons... this was their identity and this is how they should do it again and again and again...plz dice do not fail your fans you have a really big base of fans and now you are losing them... i sware of i saw delta force while i was playing bf4 i would never play this game😂 😂😂 now i wish delta force to be released cause this is a better version of bs 2042

I completely agree. 2042 had potential. Even still, it has the potential to be the next CS:GO and stay above water the next decade. But Dice just gave up completely. I see so many cheaters in 2042 now it's not even funny. Bet no one is getting banned anymore. I kinda dread playing 2042 now. 😢

@@solowundesignsbysamdavis9043 it's not 100% Dice use their own custom engine, the Dice developers who have been there for many years know the engine fine, it's the new developers who come in to work on the game that didn't know how to use it due to it being unique and fair complex

its why EA has said developers can now use the game engine they wish to instead of frostbite, it was frostbite as to why MOH warfighter was so bad, devs said it was an imposable engine to code for, people forget it was DICES own engine, its why EA bought them in the first place. now the majority of the original DICE developers have left no one understands how it works or even how to update it lol.

I'm aligned with your thinking, General. I don't really understand the hate the game is getting. EA and Dice had their chance to deliver this game. I don't really see the DF devs getting into legal trouble. It would be a bad look for EA and Dice. Plus I feel like it's a slippery slope. There's a finite way you can make assets to fit a theme.

I don't really care about DF copying Battlefield. It is going to make Battlefield improve moving on. Since my time in Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and now Battlefield 2042, all of those games were the same at release. Riddled with bugs and netcode issues. I never saw them as bugs and bad gameplay, they were features and exploits to me. Us Battlefield degenerates love Brokenfield and we hated it when they fix those games. RIP Overpowerd USAS-12 RIP Canister Shell glitch RIP the worm guy in BF3 RIP the Overpowered Rail gun in BF4. Battlefield always has been a hot mess. I know it, Levelcap knows it, and even THERUSSIANBADGER knows it.

Delta Force. Is there any news about anti cheat? COD and BF have got a bad anti cheat. Will there be aim assist and Cross Play? Will there be a TDM / Infantry only mode? Hope they will add more destruction.

I thing that this thing of copy games must stop. If big companies are worried about games because they are similar than they should worry about them selves and not be money grab's. remember playing cod and battlefield bad company 2 they were both good and not to tell you hey buy a 80 euro game and then hey buy the battlepass then the cosmetics they should stop relaying on these things and give players the real worth of money give us the full game how it should be. the price of todays games we should sue them for not give us the good product as they were before and leave these good people that are making games to make us enjoy gaming.

Fyi the multiplayer part of Delta Force is using Unreal Engine 4. Only the campaign uses UE5. I don't think EA can do much because it's a completely different engine and the company is based in China. As far as I'm concerned, only destruction and vehicles are better in 2042. Everything else, Delta Force does better. And they still have the extraction game mode, which will basically be the only extraction shooter on the consoles which will likely have a huge playerbase, being free and all.

DICE nor EA can do anything, games are allowed to take inspiration and influence, as long as they don't directly steal code or any copyrighted material belonging to EA, they're fine.

XDefiant never competed with COD people that play COD were just bored and tried it for about a month thats all and now the game is dead you have to wait 5 minutes to find a Ranked match its pathetic!

DF looks like a chinese game that ripped assets and UX straight out of 2042 and DMZ. Nothing original. Gunplay looks ok. But I'd be shocked to find out nothing is asset flipped.

No destruction and destructible environments, it's not a battlefield game period. I'm bored of gaming, video game is dead, it's just the more of the same when it comes into another game. Zero innovation, just copies another game, and we let it actually pass. Stellar blade is just a mixture of bunch of games into one, where's the originality ? The first descent , it's Destiny. Bunch of soul like games, no new mechanics. Bf2042 is a downgrade of bf5 just to please no brainer shooters.no Depts, no lore, no stories, no contents, Lack of everything, no balance. Literally I am saying no man's sky is the game of this decade.
