It’s the little things that I’m appreciating. The PiP scopes, the ability to switch which scope you are going to pull up next time you scope in without already being scoped in, and the ability to use a point fire stance (even if it only is with a laser). So many games still get those 3 things wrong.

It's probably a combination of things like maybe slowing down movement or animations just a touch. Look what happened when MW2 moved to MW3, became a bit too jumpy.

Everybody's calling it a BF killer but as far as I'm concerned this is a CoD killer. Hot take but it feels so fresh playing a competitive FPS that's not entirely dumbed down for controllers and ruined by aim-assist. Not yet anyway...

It doesn't feel like it trust me, I thought the same before playing, there's some similar animations but it feels nothing like mw2019, guns have beefy recoil and you aren't sliding around everywhere at mach Jesus

I feel like the guns 100% feel exactly like mw2019 and the rest is a carbon copy of older bf games. For me this is great and I have been loving it. But I know there are many that believe you can only like one of the two games.

I do prefer deltas gunplay though, I think the maps suck, I prefer the detailed maps of bf3 and bf4, these maps feel way too much like 2042 maps, and 2042 maps are dogshit. Gimme maps like zavod, Caspian border and even something like dawnbreaker. Maps feel large for the sake of being large and I hate that

Played a game just now, wish it had bigger maps, it was so fun driving around to find other squads on DMZ... and i think the DMZ extractions were really fun too, be cool to see something like this here

The maps are very Battlefield inspired and the extraction mode is a good mix of DMZ and Tarkov/ABI. The gunplay is a little more CoD than I'd like, though, especially with how jumpy and slidey the game feels.

Footstep audio is good in my opinion. Most hubs I've used have felt beefy. Maybe it's the G3 and some other, but snipers felt good and the pistol too. I'm probably not going to play a while lot extraction mode, really the first one I've tried. And despite being really fun I too am concerned about the higher tier ammo. Movement is a little floaty yeah, if slower than Battlefield 2042. Vehicles need work in many areas. Overall it's better than 2042 in its current state for me. Hope the cheating is managed because that's the biggest by far danger IMHO.

I agree with the ammo conversation here I think they have it really good atm and it doesn't need the different ammo types as it for me does ruin the fun of what is a very good extraction mode I hope they remove that and just still to the armour it's a better balance that way imo

No company spends millions of dollars developing a game (as well as paying the royalties for the unreal engine) only to give it away F2P, its a bad business model. The true intentions of the studio will become clear after release. Wouldn't be surprised if its a massive pay to win game. Even just charging for skins wont be enough to turn a profit... its not fortnight or COD.

Yep! I'm loving the game so far but 100% the extraction mode will be pay to win. The multiplayer will probably charge for the weapon XP boosts as they are already on the game.through challenges

Bruh. They are the same devs who made COD MOBILE. The current best COD out right now 😂. With more features than MW3. Fortnite is also free to play. Apex as well. Delta has Escape from Tarkov and Battlefield game modes. It will be a platform for multiple game types. Theyre gonna make tons of cosmetics and battle passes

Just to add to the performance note, I run a 1060 and play on high settings, I get 60-90 fps. And honestly I think the variance is more my cpu than the gpu But again, THANK YOU @TheTacticalBrit! I have thoroughly enjoyed the game, thanks again for the key!

My initial impressions are that the movement and gunplay, but feel like Havoc Warfare is shallow overall for a combined arms shooter taking a shot of Battlefield. I mean I wish they went for a more tactical focus for Havoc Warfare. I mean Tactical Turmoil feels a lot closer I want out of Delta Force really, nothing too hardcore but not arcadey either. I feel let down by Havoc Warfare the most because it doesn't really that worth to play over Battlefield rather than waiting for something else. I really hope Bulkhead's Wardogs will truly nail that old-school and I mean old-school Battlefield feel which modernised movement & gunplay (BF2/2142 has a special place but dear god we really need something that plays like them with more up to date fideility and all)) and QOL features. It's in a decent playable state being an Alpha aside some issues like the deployable map not being correct on where people are so trying to adjust that temporarily feels iffy right now.
