In early 2020 I was planning a trip to Austin with my ex for like April or May. I looked up random bands that were playing and it was all just country. I stumbled upon delta sleep playing at some random bar and looked em up on Spotify and bought tickets for the show. Been one of my favorite bands ever since. The trip ended up getting cancelled because of covid, but the album sort of became “our” album. We played it for like a week straight on a cabin trip one winter. She even got me the ghost vinyl for Christmas one year. We’re no longer together, but this random ass band I found means a lot to me because of all the stuff associated with one album in my past.

We really have come full circle! The first Audio Tree session was how I discovered Delta Sleep. Then later that year I got to catch them live at a small venue in Sacramento CA. They really are such a good live band. I also got all their Autographs on Ghost City. They were fantastic blokes! Dave even took time to talk shop about his bass rig witn me(a fellow bassist named Dave). So this is really a specisl moment and i hope some new folks find this band, cause they are genuine. Genuinly good, genuinely great guys!

Started listening to Delta Sleep in 2020 when i put sultans of ping on my biking playlist and from sultans of ping to the rest of your discography i biked every morning and all i would end up listening to is your songs and that continued and here in 2024 now and having seen you guys live in Toronto and getting the management vinyl from that show it has meant the absolute most to be able to listen to your music. me and my 2 best friends started jamming together and we all knew delta sleep now whenever we hangout we just smoke and jam delta sleep and those are easily the most greatest times!! my gf also bought me the 10 year anniversary hoodie and hat for Christmas and i couldn't be happier!!!! much love!! come back to Toronto

@@zacharydonnachie1 I agree. The best clue we had was an Instagram comment where the TTNG page confirmed that they want to reunite when Tim's child is older. But we don't know if this would be like months or years older. And the comment suggests they would first reunite for a new album, not for a tour.

Seeing this makes me appreciate how much passion, love and energy they put into their live shows. I saw them open for The Dear Hunter in SLC (I wish Delta Sleep was headlining) and despite it not being a publicity session for a massive audience on the internet, it was actually FAR far better than this Audiotree live performance. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. They were able to channel the energy from the audience and give us all the medicine we needed. Thanks!

In a world full of protocolar performances by effortless bands is amazing to watch Delta Sleep giving their absolute best in every session their got. One of my favorites bands up there with tricot and Asian Kung Fu Generation, i would love to see a feat with them one day too, their with tricot was amazing. Sofa Boy might be my favorite song, it remainds me of a time when i was with a girl that i didnt love anymore and i took a while to decide to break, it was the best for my and for her in the end.
