UPDATE: WE DID IT; DTT DROPPED THE PRICE, THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT. To everyone barking at the price. We are also barking at the price, there's not even enough money in my checking account to buy another one. There isn't another 3p on the market that we are aware of; the hope is to draw attention to this unique option and hopefully influence the price point moving forward. My firm belief is somewhere in the 400-450 range is appropriate. IF the Manufacturer (not DTT) see's enough of a push, or another manufacturer wants to make a competing product for a better price point, we all win.

Another reason it's priced so high is because these are made by rare breed and sold by delta so the markup is really high because rare breed is trying to recoup their money. RE: SOLGW Bolt Carrrier, some of them have a shaved"sled" on the bottom being shorter is not milspec, and not being milspec can be fine, but when it shorter like that it creates space for gas to leave. They do this to make it shoot at 4 o'clock, and shoot flatter. But, long term it degrades your upper (literally shaving it) and causes a massive point of failure while creating an action that is likely to not shoot. I wont buy any SOLGW Bolt Carrier until this is remedied back to the milspec sled, because its massive design flaw and creaates a pressure leak.

No threadlock? Two times in my life I have pulled bark off a tree and was able to pocket knife out some moisture from the tree. Forced the threads of a screw into that moisture and put it back in place. First time I did this with a throttle screw for a tractor when I was 15 and then again 20 years later while on a backpack trip. On that 2-week long hike, I had a scope that wouldn't stay tight because I didn't locktite the screws. The scope rings loosened three times through week one before I remembered the tree sap thing. And the following 10 days the scope never moved.

The appeal of the super safety is that it uses the original FCG of the AR-15 instead of having FA or proprietary parts in order for "fully semi-automatic" fire. Super safetys will wear down and be more expensive in the long run. 3D printed FRT's are cheaper and easier to replace worn parts.

I always ask these comments the same question. Did you contact customer service and what was their response? QC errors ar bound to show up, I wouldn't be surprised if they read your comment here and reach out too... W are reviewing a product, not the company. Full disclosure the upper and handgaurd on my main rifle are DTT products, they've survived well over 60k rounds of use, but I'm running a Geissele BCG and immediately replaced the barrel.

PSA installed our anti-walk pins with no loctite so they just came unscrewed and walked out after 2000 rounds; you can actually see it happen during my filming on the Montsrum optic awhile back. The SABRE line is cool; the billet one is just not great and mine looks more worn than most of my 20k rounds+ rifles after only 2500 rounds

That is the slowest FRT I've ever seen. I generally hit 0.12 splits with my tuned 11.5 SBR with a Geissele SD3G trigger. I've had multiple FRT's ...dumping a D60 in 3.12 on a Pact timer. Video on my channel to prove it.

FRT just like FA is ENTIRELY dependent on how the gun is gassed. I can make my gun shoot about 590rpm with a specific buffer and gas setup, or I can make it shoot 1150 with a different one... its got zero to do with the trigger

It’s got nothing to do with the trigger dummy lol. It’s all about how it’s gassed and the weight of the buffer

Ya, well as an old AR builder... currently 1/2025, all lower parts kits, even 80% lowers are over priced. $400 for a trigger group, yeah that's a bit much. I.. know someone lucky enough to have bought a lower parts kit that accidentally had a three burst trigger component in it. Funny part was he didn't know, he thought it was a normal single shot semi parts kit.

If the semi auto is as good as *insert aftermarket trigger of choice*, the price isnt really that crazy. Think about a G$ ssae at ~300, a supersafety kit for $100-150, then the tools and labor to cut the G$ trigger to work with a supersafety and youre right around the $600 mark.

Met you guys in colorado springs! Love that you keep the channel honest and don't pander to youtube or crappy channel sponsors. Please start using bcm complete rifles as your standard when testing suff. They have became the mid standard and it's easier to gauge how higher or lower end rifles will behave when tested with a bcm. Also getting bigger or wearing looser clothing will make it feel like im not watching 2 guys that had a failed emo band haha! Forget my comment and keep up the good work!

I’ve been trying to get bigger for ten years man, without steroids it’s a long process 😂 We will look into buying a BCM rifle to use, I usually run my geissele so something Mid standard would be helpful for everyone, great advice!!

It'll only work with an AR that has a FA carrier OR the FA version of something that'll fit an AR lower (like an MCX) but good luck getting Sig to sell you that version of an MCX upper.
