This guy was my teacher for intermediate and advance at George Brown in Toronto back in 2017 I still check up on his videos once and a while. Thanks Peter!

Excellent video. I wish YT was available 40 years ago when I started my training. Going to send this one to my son who is also and Electrician. Thanks for posting.

Great video. I love in the Deep South of the USA. We’re one of the few places in the states with 600v in the old mills. I have worked it once at an old ice house. Most our stuff in 480v now.

Thank you so much. You’re doing gods work. Trying to diagnose a transformer as a young electrician.. this is exactly what I needed as i knew I could adjust the taps to step down their voltage I just didn’t know how.

a very good explanation. thanks

Nice explanation👍👍👍 Is it possible to put two cables in one terminal of secondary side, like what you show on the video. I want to use this method to spilt out for two machine.

Which of the two connection is the most advantageous in banking a transformer: delta-wye connection or wye-delta connection application in facility with commercial and residential area?

Great video…I’m told that ESA no longer requires the system ground conductor…only need the bonding jumper…can you explain?

Great job. Love the way you explain things. I'll be following you now and watching more videos

The way he explained it the wiring in the video for the high voltage is wrong then you should probably relay that to everyone so they don't get confused other than that really good video

You have H3 brown, H1 orange and H2 yellow. Shouldn't it be H1: brown, H2: orange, H3: yellow? Ah! I see in the comments you're in Canada, where you use Red, Black, Blue for 208/120, so presumably you use Orange, Yellow, Brown for high voltage.

I was thinking the same thing...but decided to read the comments before I opened up my pie hole. 🤣

11:30 is that the common core? X2-X2-X2
@PeteVree2 жыл бұрын
The common core is the steel that the conductors (primary and secondary) are wound around.
