@@AlaskaWorkshop Forgot to ask, for the side braces, did you attach them to the saw frame or are they just pushed against the legs?

Mike, thanks for the great idea. This weekend I built my own little cabinet to go under my Delta 36-725 T2 table saw. Looks great and gives me that valuable storage everyone needs.

I have an older delta 34-444C table saw, came with a square base. I just boxed it in and put a cardboard box to catch errant sawdust, works well. After seeing your video, i may half the box size and fit at least a drawer in there. Thanks for the video.

It is my dust collector for sure. The dust collection on this saw is awful. Plan on taping up the seams underneath the saw.

I am kinda shocked at how many of the same varied tools we have. I've got the same Wen track saw and Powertec rail. Same Ryobi brad nailer, same Kobalt router table. And obviously same Delta saw. Awesome video! It looks like the router table is installed in the table saw wing! Hoping there's a video for that. Edit: Same name too! ha

@@AlaskaWorkshop hello I stopped by Lowes and picked up a set of soft close slides 20 inch I'm making one deep drawer for longer tools and saw blades, I am using the same exterior measurements though thanks

Looks great! Was there any significant changes to your drawers than mike had on his T2?

@@lacrosse2916 The only issue I had was the metal tabs that hold the stamped sheet metal. I grinded those off/sanded/painted. Then I created some wedges that go between the cabinet and the saw on each side and screwed through those to make it nice and sturdy.

@@AlaskaWorkshop There is really none in the Valley the only good place for exotic lumber is Hardware Specialties in Anchorage, They also have a great tool selection and are good people. Other than that just Big Box, SBS, and Builders Choice.

@@AlaskaWorkshop I totally understand. Just 1 more question, what size drawer slides did you use? I’m building it now but planning to do just 2 deeper drawers as opposed to the 3. Still debating.

@@jasonvera2269 I used 16" slides. You could probably extend the depth of the box an inch and go with 18" slides.

I wish the dust collection was better! Still happy with it though and have been using it a lot.

@@AlaskaWorkshop I saw on ETSY someone is selling 3D printed dust chutes that fit into the blade guard for overarm dust collection. I wonder if it would work well? Reviews are good. Zero clearance throat plate too? Anyway, I see the price has gone up to $649. Still seems like the best saw for the money by quite a bit. Thanks for the reply.

No, there are a lot of people that have built the saw into a cabinet. Look for inspiration in the 36-725 Facebook group.

Thanks for the comment. Those are 18" full extention soft close slides. My wife noticed I have better slides in the shop than in the kitchen.

Tap the box with a hammer over the bolt.

That was what I was thinking. Bolt will make an indention to mark the spot.
