A few questions 1 Why’s Lancer’s motif near the beginning? 2 What choices in the Goner maker affect what? 3 We shape the Vessel’s mind to our own according to Gaster, is the vessel conscious or just an empty husk for us?

All very good questions! let's see... 1: Lancer's motif is used here for the same reason its used in Acid Tunnel of love. Sorta just an out of place motif variant for the occasional odd minigame segment. Figured it'd work for the first of many minigames that show up in this chapter. 2: The choices in the gonermaker affect inconsequential details like flavor text. In this case, the red text that appears after interacting with a save point is the result of picking the "Voice" gift. (I only just now came up with this part because people kept asking me about it, and I'm fairly certain I actually DID pick voice for my survey) 3: The vessel we play as isn't technically the vessel that got discarded, it's a memory manifested from our soul through the dark world, like how Lightners' clothes change to reflect their personality. This was planned to be explained in a pre-chapter black screen cutscene like chapter 2 had, but I couldn't make it work the way I wanted. As for the physical vessel itself, it *was* meant to act as a compatible vessel for the player that would basically be a version of them. but it got discarded, so it no longer exists.

​@@NormalOval ​ Favorite flavor would slightly affect the amount healed by certain healing items. Favorite color and blood type affect nothing, All of the gifts affect flavor text in different ways, reflected in corrupted ways due to the incomplete nature of the temporary vessel. And yeah, second voice does speak the exact same way as someone known for erasing things, so its not too much of a stretch. Though, like them, they may use a recreation of what they've destroyed to get something they want. But that's pure speculation on my part, as I dont plan to make any chapter AUs beyond 3.

@@niko_the_messiah_pancakes unfortunately not. The technique I use to animate makes it very hard to do stuff with a lot of different sprites, because each of them has to be its own layer.
