Nah, before you were fighting a salesmen fighting the strings that make him a puppet so that he can achieve the freedom that he so desperately desired. Spamton lost the fight, and now, its not that he is no longer a puppet, rather a puppet is all he is. No more charismatic salesman fighting for free will, he wasn’t strong enough to break his own strings so a puppet he remains. But hey thats just my take, your free to have any take on this that you would like!

I like to think Spamton is finally free, but we've gotten so used ti seeing just the puppet he used to be, that his freedom altogether feels unatural and husk like. But.... At the same time, he isn't really, really free. Spamton has come to terms that he is a puppet, but he has realised that his fate won't get any worse, yet accepts it, giving birth to a new freedom in Spamton. "It seems I could be nothing more than a simple puppet." That isn't a cry of desperation. It's a sad, hopeless statement of acceptance.
