At the first save point, it usually shows Kris' name that the player overwrites with their creator's name. As well, this game wasn't as hard as UNDERTALE (except for the Jevil fight), so can we expect to see something really difficult for the following chapters? Also, 0 EXP might be a reference to how the "Dark World" is simply your imagination as the character (though it could simply be that you get no EXecution Points because they flee rather than die). Perhaps it'll prove to determine how the player acts in future chapters, whether they're genocidal, pacifist or neutral.

Ummm no, the very first time you play the game those save points are from Kris, if you have save at any time in Deltarun, Kris's save is gone. If you play Deltarun again the first checkpoint is empty cause you alredy errase Kris's save.

Maybe just changing the story a bit by fighting instead of pacifist like what you've seen, the king falls asleep when fighting and on pacifist there comes everybody. So there is no way in saving Kris. We'll find out more about this the second chapter though, I heard there'll be multiple chapters and I hope the secrets will continue. Wonder what Gaster would think of this if he really existed

I have a prediction for chapter 2. Now that Kris has taken over by throwing you into a cage and taking a knife out, he will actually kill someone instead of beating them up until they run and everyone will be terrified. We know that Susie is already violent but she never killed and she also changes later and is a good person so she will probably leave Kris, but Ralsei will be like Papyrus and believe in you and that you will change and they will stay with you for a while and then as you keep killing they will stop you by either standing in front of you giving you the choice of killing them or stopping your spree like regular Papyrus or they will stop believing and attack, like in Disbelief. Suzy will probably be one of the last fights and will try to stop you and will be insanely hard to fight, just like Sans. I also think that because Kris pulled you out of him and already had a save file, he could be like the Flowey or even the Chara (more likely) of Deltarune and either you had enough determination to take them over for chapter 1 or they are more powerful and let you take over out of curiosity but either way they're done playing your games and there will be moments where he does things you didn't do, just like Chara.

When you battle Jevil, at the beginning he’s somewhat slow, but If you catch up to him and dodge most of his attacks, he slowly changes his attacks, and moves faster, kind of like when Sans changes his attacks (ex. From Bones to Gaster Blasters) and starts to sweat.

If you play for the first time (you have no save files, you just downloaded the game. You may have to uninstall/reinstall or get a new computer in the worst case) Then your file is kris (Before you save) If you can find a way to do this, then I think you will get different dialogue.

I actually tried a no-save run on an original save file (one that still said "Kris" when you first see it) and it changed absolutely nothing. I guess our choices really DON'T matter, huh? This was a good run though, Merg! Nice job, as usual!
