33:18 I am so hyped for the branching storyline. I recently saw someone post that in talking to the AH folks at the reveal it was possible based on story choices to even backtrack and do previously skipped quests. I think they said it’s technically possible to do like 14+ quests in your playthrough 🤩

I think an oceanic expansion would be cool. Especially since they’ve implemented choose your adventure path mechanics, like you go through a dungeon, then between that and the next dungeon there’s a naval travel moment where depending on what path you choose you can encounter a different sea monster or ghost pirate ship and you get a hero ship which can be upgraded etc. include a monster hunter class who’s like the ranger but maybe he’s themed like a medieval whaler. Or have a desert expansion with mummies etc.

I honestly was finishing up my Warlock and starting my Rogue while listening to this. While I understand a lot of the criticisms towards Delthrak, I'm glad they're supporting this game. I was wrong about the sabrecat being a bear, but eh, it was hard to say exactly. I know a lot don't like the "choose-your-own-adventure" style layout, but from how it sounds, it's just giving a group different ways to end the campaign. They're trying something different, and in a game that's existed solely thanks to homebrew, it sounds like it'll be a fun take on it. We get lots of new monsters; yes the cultists are "reskinned", but you already pointed out some nice ways to use them. I'm looking forward to some of these new monsters, and it's nice to get more goblin/skeleton archers without needing to get another Ogre Horde box. The Berserker and Explorer I'm a bit mixed on. I think the Explorer could be used on it's own, or just give the skills for the Dwarf (which I just dub "The Fighter") the skills. As for the Barbarian, it makes sense for him to have those skills as well, so I could see myself offering them to the Barbarian player as well. That aside, I do like them as alternate options, but I think I'd rather cannibalize the skills for the base box characters. I'm also glad they brought back alchemy in Delthrak; it's a neat mechanic that, while not everyone may like, I know my group enjoys making use of it. I love multiphase monsters; it adds a new take on boss battles and makes them more exciting I think. First Light I'm still going to go out on a limb and say it's going to be a quest pack or a character pack (maybe both?). I think it'll offer an actual Cleric (maybe even a Paladin class?) If it's an actual quest expansion, it might deal with undead again, possibly offering more of the new undead we get in Jungles of Delthrak. Not sure what the big bad might be (some sort of new undead lord? Or maybe Skullmar?). Looking forward to if Wizards of Zargon/Morcar gets released, and I wonder if they'll still do an actual Dwarf and Wizard quest pack? Since many of us assumed in the early days that this was the Dwarf quest pack, it seems that individual quest packs are still on the table (hypothetically).

A Cleric would very well fit into a Vampire-Theme expansion. I played wizards of morcar. I didn't like it and it wouldn't bring much new stuff. There are already lots of dread magic spells and all the mercenaries. So i am not so excited about it. I think the wizard needs some upgrade. Maybe new elemental spells to chose from or some new spell decks. What i like to see alternate board mechanics like from space quest or advanced heroquest. I am very happy that the alchemy deck has been expanded. I hope they keep expanding it. New ingridients for new potions. And i think an additional set of potions could help aganist a vampire plague... Also nice theme would be a desert seems like commented above or a Sindbad/Middle East theme. Thanks ash for your content. It calms me down and let me forget work. ❤

I expect a new version of Wizards of Morcar will get similar treatment to Against the Ogre's Horde & get something new. Something comparable to the arena to keep it interesting for someone like yourself that doesn't feel it offers enough.

I think it would be awesome to have more biome quest packs. (Ocean, Desert, Forest, Volcano area, etc) I also would love if they made it possible to buy miniatures À la carte. Mainly because to have more to paint and more for homebrew. I am curious what first light will be and am excited for everything that is coming hopefull sooner then later.

I really want more Rogues for existing character types, but especially Thieves and Pirates for new ones. I feel like if you can introduce new characters that expand both the themes and environments then that opens the game up to new mechanics.

I’m new to the game so this might already exist. I would love to see a hex crawl world map for travel between the different areas with an encounter deck for things that happen on the road between. Let me know if this exists. Thanks

Indeed, i think i fall into the group of those that are a little disappointed in Delthrak. Its the Tiles and the Raptors.. the tiles look too bland and not bustling with that jungle look, vibrant with color, i dont mind the rest. I'll see how i feel once it arrives. Im finishing off a DungeonQuest Expansion then ill go back and have a deep look at all the tiles that have been uploaded or should i say all the images taken from the showcases. I do have a ton of ideas to add, i want to do a load of Jungle Tiles. Or try my best at doing some cool jungle tiles. :) I can 3d print the smaller wee critters and make new monster cards for each of them. But its interesting. I like the new Quest idea. Reminds me my own i did and the one im doing now. :P It is really different, so im happy with what they are doing. Its a nice change, and i cant really say anything negative on that. I'll be buying two boxes if i can. 🤣

Well, it's been a lot of new released HeroQuest content the last few years. I would not be mad if Delthrak was the last expansion. It would be sad, but wouldn't be mad about it.

I want a mini pack, similar to path of the monk where we get a fairy sculpt for a warlock, or some other major variant. Dreamworld would get some dark necromancer that are human.

Nice listen too when painting today...I just finished painting the core game, and have lots more expansions to paint this year... as for what we may see...well expansions are nice but take up more room each time... a crazy idea would be to release on pulse a new board... maybe double sided, same room layout just different theme maybe... so many have done stl files or print off with a company etc... but if they did one and took all that extra work away from you...mmmm it would mean all the expansions would look different ?. - Also come on lets have a Cartoon series too :-)

Id like them to release the old unreleased Wizard & Dwarf packs, knock them out of the park, and thats it. End it. Let it be complete. No effing more after that. I hate the modern trend of games puking out expansions ad nauseum forever. Really hooe they dont continue that with HQ. If it looks like thats the plan ill probably stop buying and get rid of it.

I don't know what to think about this espansion. We got a lot of wonderful things, sure, but still... I am not 100% convinced I will like it, at least not entirely. Instead of skullblights and raptors, I would have preferred a bunch of lizardmen. I am not sure the big tiles will be enough to cover the board to simulate a jungle. Maybe a couple of spider-minis instead of 1 would have been great to have. Maybe a couple of giant apes instead of 1. And... that was the perfect occasion for a new board (no matter if the price would had been higher). They did a great job indeed for what we get/see, but I don't know. Probably it is just me. They can't make happy all of us. It's just impossible.

I too lament the lizardmen. We can hope for a future appearance maybe, but jungle would have been great. As far as new board, the most practical thing to do imho was new tiles, but a lot of them. Is this enough? I dunno...yet.
