Thanks to everybody still finding this video! I remember coming home and finding out, out of nowhere, Deltron had just dropped a song as part of some video game animation I'd never heard of. I ripped the audio from the animation at the speed of a flaming kangaroo and slapped the dopest image result on Google - presto, KZbin re-upload. Hot off the barbie. I was certain noone besides me would watch it - i mean, after all, it's only a matter of time 'till Deltron or Battleborn themselves release it, right? Now it's 2022... and that's a solid no, all around, boss! Glad yall enjoy this lazy ass re-up and I'm glad yall had great memories with the game. I never played it but it's cool to see this still get comments from its fans. Also the sci-fi sound effects make this track better and if you disagree you are a wiener

I transcribed the song's lyrics since no one did it yet. It's not perfect but I think it's close. Here's what I came up with: Invaders are descending, if it goes down, its up to us to stop entry. No need to be, you're welcome to join them, follow the rules and regulations employed then! Robots standing guard, whoever got the capital they selling them off, they kick back into the large off of ours but the larger they are, the larger the barrage. We're the folks from the underbelly, freedom is valued more than anything they sell me. Blowing back, they got foes that attack. Loaded strap, focus the blast. i think what sets Del apart from other rappers (apart from the sheer strength of his lyrics) is his pronounciation, you can hear every word he says clearly as he doesn't cut corners when saying words, its like whats the point of having a message if you cant get it across clearly

It is, but he has better material than that. He was in Hieroglyphics rap group as well as Deltron 3030 which is some of the most original rap from about 2000. I still listen to the album even now.

I’m not at all a fan of rap but this a maybe couple other songs from the 1980’s to early 1990’s I don’t mind. I remember first booting up Battleborn and seeing this intro thinking “damn this is going to be fun” while yes the gameplay and story mode were fun it just couldn’t stand a chance against Overwatch back then. It’s sad too because this could have been known as the other great current Gearbox franchise. 😢
