Wow, love how perfect it looks considering the ends are more narrow or less wider. I will be following you.

Do you have a tutorial for a 1" headband
@bonniegarbydesigns4 жыл бұрын
Not for this pattern. You could give it a try with 1/4" grosgrain, 4 wide. That would equal 1". The problem is the tapered ends of the headband. It's pretty hard already with the 3/4" headband and the 1" headband tapers almost the same amount and now you would be adding another 1/4" of ribbon to try to ease in to place. I don't thing the ends would finish nicely. If you want to do a 1" headband, try one of the other weave styles. Happy crafting!

Why do you heat seal the ribbons if they are going to be glued underneath another ribbon? There's no way it can fray when it is glued under other ribbons. Is there a reason to seal the ends in a case like that?
@bonniegarbydesigns5 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! Technically, you could get away with only sealing the bottom most piece on the starting end as that is the only one that will be exposed. I seal them all just as a habit and also so there are no annoying fraying pieces while I'm working. On the finishing end, you can to run the lighter around the entire thing as there are most exposed cut edges. It's preference. I'd rather over-seal than miss an end and it just takes a second. Just be sure to hit all the ends that will be exposed. Happy crafting!

Hi I have a request. I want to make a square wreath and I want to know how to start the weaving from a corner? Or from a angle? Reply

Hi Marilea. Thanks so much for watching. I'm not sure I really understand what you are trying to make, but I think I would try starting in the same fashion, but only tack the ribbon on so you can lift it off later. Then weave around and when you meet back up where you started, pull the beginning weaving up and try to mesh the start and the finish up as neatly as possible. I would also suggest planning a bow or some sort of embellishment in that spot which will cover the join.

can i use less wider hairband????
@bonniegarbydesigns8 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching. For this particular headband, you need the 3/4" width because you are using three pieces of 1/4" ribbon which side by side equal 3/4". Happy crafting!
