I’m glad I’m not the only one to realize that the the tan spartan is the purple overshield spartan from the blind bag! That’s one of my main reasons for wanting this set when it becomes readily available.

I think the desert Spartan's colors is based on the Scorpion Horvath coating. Named after Spartan Horvath which the skin is based on. I feel like this another indirect hint that we will be seeing Horvath and most likely that other Rubicon Protocal Spartan in later sets. I bet Horvath will be in a Banished Wraith set.

Actually, upon further research, Fret is the yellow one. Butlr comes in the other set in orange

The new weapons are good, the new helmets are alright, but that helmet what is the same as agrynas is nice and I'm especially excited for agryna, but the down side is that there's no printing on the chest pieces but the ammo belt thing looks great for custom spartans and marines

No, it was a joke. This is the first set to include a plasma pistol since it was buffed in Infinite.

So i ended up getting this set, and i love it! I think you just got very unlucky with QC issues (as usual) but mine also had some issues. The weird hand (not surprisingly) and some excess paint in the mk7. Overall really awesome set, i love the desert themed spartan

What do I do when a part of a figure is messed up? The hand wrist wasn’t molded correctly so the hand falls out but I can’t replace it because when I type in the part number which is the whole figure, it says it’s unavailable. They might think I’m trying to get 2 figures but I just need the wrist piece

The parts request page doesn't work, and you can't get just a single figure part replaced--it has to be the whole fig. If it's the same issue as you saw in this video, I have a Dusted Off video showing how to fix it.

This happened to my Arbiter. I had to call them and they sent me a new one. They also had me send my entire figurine back. They said Arbiter was one of their "flagship" figurines and they needed me to send the whole thing back. The only thing wrong was my helmet for him was broken. In short, call them until you get through.

Really sucks that you had to encounter more of the QC issues with the poor green/white Spartan, although I’m not really a huge fan of the coating they’ve used for it. The desert Spartan just caught my eye even more, and I also happen to agree with you for the lack of detail print for the tan Spartan’s ASSAULT/SAPPER chest plate, I would like it more if they colored the grenade shells, as well as the straps that keeps them secured. But the new Helljumper-style (Forgot it’s name, just looked it up yesterday but it just reminds me of Buck’s Helljumper helmet from Halo 5) helmet looks amazing, albeit that it sat a little lower, it reminded me of the Call of Duty Juggernaut, just by how bulky the chest plate is. The weapons are nice, the Mk. 50 Sidekick looks better with the tactical light on, even though I prefer the former M6 mold more, but the plasma rifle did blew me away. Honestly I like it more than the teeny Storm Rifle. But that belt you received looks really nice, too bad it is a little oversized, but it looks like a nice stand-in for the grenadier belt Emile uses. Just be sure it wouldn’t cost him his arm in the fight. 😂

I know some people are gonna be annoyed by getting so many of them, but I hope we see the AI re-released in various colors. Like we have Butler in the other pack in a red/orange color but I swapped between yellow and purple with him before I unlocked Iratus. Speaking of which, some of these AI are gonna be tricky to recreate. Wonder how Mega will handle Iratus and the upcoming Mati AI.

i regularly lubricate my mega figures with silicone lubricant spray. prevents a lot of damage to the pieces and a tiny amount goes a long way.

Hey Demarcation! I was just look at the two packs and I realized that the Spartans AI color are pared with the Spartans visor color! Like the orange with the green one and the white and green one with orange the blue with yellow and the tan with blue! But obviously you can pare the AIs up however you want! Just something I wanted to point out!

these sets are honestly my most favorite from the wave. The only thing I see wrong with them is that I wish they came with more stuff like a bit more armor, a couple more weapons, and crates. But honestly, I think you get a decent ammount of stuff for the price of $9.99 - $10.99. I dont hold QC errors against a set but I do hope they get this stuff sorted out asap since some of the ones I encountered do hinder the set like the hands not being able to hold things.

Honestly, I don't think it needed more armor or weapons, but some crates would have been nice. I'm hoping that since these were like, first production run stuff, the later runs will have less issues.

Well, Mega themselves have said they don't street date things like Lego does, so it's a lot more loose when these things actually release. Basically, when the sets can be found easily, it's a full release.
