My daughter has had multiple TBI's and we're dealing with some of this. Plus my mom, 86, absolutely has dementia. It's really saddening and difficult. You are describing my mom perfectly. My daughter too in so many ways.

So glad I found your channel. Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge. I'm an only child caring for my mom with (undiagnosed) dementia. She's dealt with mental health for most her life, but none of it prepared me for her decline with dementia. I noticed it when she started forgetting dates (got her a wall calendar) and fixating on things from 30 years ago. She's now at the stage of accusing me of stealing money, a very elaborate story involving police and other people. I haven't handled it well, I'm overwhelmed. So I'm searching up tools to help me manage better.

I’m glad that you found the channel too, although I am so sorry that you have need of a dementia professional. 😔. Please come over to the Facebook support group mentioned in the video, there are geniuses there who deal with dementia in their families. You will not be alone. There is a link in the video description… All my love, Vicky

Do you have advice for split opinions among the adult children. It has been very emotional. Some in complete denial and angry when confronted with the person's living conditions and safety issues.

Peggy, I have made a video on difficult family members, but it’s been a few years ago. It is on my channel, but I will find the link and post it here. It doesn’t exactly address just the split between children, so that’s a good idea for a video and I will put it on my list to make. I hope that the ones that are not helping or don’t believe or in denial about the situation come to an understanding.
