I mean.... i’ve overdosed before… She’s living them for the first time… She was not conscious during any of this stuff. She probably barely even remembers the first like week after waking up. Just saying. Obviously either way it’s going to be emotionally taxing but I just mean it’s a tiny bit different for that reason. Feels like Greys Anatomy like she said hahaha. But obviously the emotion would get to you anyway just of being an addict and living through the horror of it and knowing even the people who think they get it still don’t get it at all 😂. It’s rough. I’m five years sober from snorting Heroin this July, myself.

to recreate the darkest night of your life certainly takes some courage
@peacelovenessab3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Very brave! 👏
@isaid45863 жыл бұрын
It's not courage, she's been monetizing every event from her life that was in the news. She's a sellout, that's why she keeps relapsing - pretending to share your story and care about it for fame and money takes a toll on you. listen to interviews she gave recently - every "meaningful" thing she says is to sell her album.
@mattbarnaby90353 жыл бұрын
@@isaid4586 she has relapsed twice and what you probably don’t understand is that relapse is part of addiction. if it was as easy as people are making it out to be to be sober forever i’m sure everyone out there would be. but it’s not, she’s sharing her story to try and encourage and help others to find their correct path and better their life. hollywood is too used to people who just want money and luckily she’s not one of them
@isaid45863 жыл бұрын
@@mattbarnaby9035 maybe you know more about addiction than me, and I'm happy if her talking about her addction helps someone to deal with their own issues, but I doubt it actually does, because her documentary, videos and interviews sensationalize the whole overdose situation, and this has been the case in all of her documentaries. It's not because she talks about, but the way everything she releases is presented. I used to be a fan, especially because she talked about bullying and bulimia and father issues like no celebrity before, but I see a pattern now, and clearly her talking about the issues is not the goal in itself, but a means to sell her albums, due to how it all is presented. It's more about her explaining away her mistakes, and getting the public interested in a "celebrity who is so open and brings issues to light" so that she can stay relevant and make more money. And therefore it is worthless.
@AM-gt1yt3 жыл бұрын
@@isaid4586 nothing wrong with monetizing the worst moment of your life. If you could, you would too. 🤷🏻♀️ plus, demi has said music is her therapy. She writes what she feels. And yes you sound like you don’t understand addiction at all. Relapse is part of recovery.
