It makes me sad that Demi was so unhappy because this is my favorite Demi era, not even just for the nostalgia aspect, but because her soaring strong soprano voice ripping through these pop rock distorted guitars is such a knock out of a sound. I feel like the boy could be a representation of addiction. The way he continuously walks in and out of the concert while she’s playing. The devilish smile. And then at the end in the dressing room when he puts his arm on her shoulder and she looks up and smiles at him, (as if representing getting high after a show) this is just my perspective looking back at this music video at 29 years old battling addiction on and off since I’m 18.
