I never liked her riffs though. She doesn't come off as musically intelligent compared to some of her peers like Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande, Jasmine Sullivan, Jessi J, who seem to riff better.

You can clearly hear her she has a lyric soprano voice, but forces her sound to sound larger than what it naturally is, because she tries to imitate her influences like Christina Aguilera, and Kelly Clarkson, who are also lyric voices, known for their powerful belts.

@lissandrafreljord7913 I agree, Demi still has some issues with her riffs, it's not her most powerful vocal trait. But her voice is powerful and broader compare to most of her peers (Ari, Tori) who have really light and thin voices. Demi voice is really naturally wide and her belts are more powerful and consistent than her peers, it's her major strenght.

Demi is intimidated by Jennifer... she feels a bit insecure abt her singing bc those are blues/soul/gospel kinda songs. But guess what, Demi? You need not to feel insecure, bc you can SANG.
