I agree, Celia the other daughter wasn't thin and pretty like Gabby. But her character did not portray a rude, misbehaved child like Juanita Solis. And probably the reason why she didn't receive as much hate ... These stories are sad to hear, because these child actors go through so much trauma, for the sake a becoming a big star.

Well if she developed eating disprder, it was because of the show itself & all the jokes in the story about her being a fat Mexican kid, not social media or people's comments- because at the time, 2003- there was not even smart phones or social media aps that much!

The show started in 2004 but I joined in 2008 which was 2 years after twitter was created. I would never say that the show itself hurt my confidence - that set was like home to me! It was definitely the comments. Hope that clears things up :)
