Demi's Story

The Zoo has had a lot to celebrate in 2022, and one success we're thankful for is Demi, the black crested mangabey. She is a true success story, thanks to the dedicated Zoo staff who hand-raised her and worked diligently to eventually reunite Demi with her parents. To our knowledge, this is the first time reunification has occurred with this species! We are very proud of this accomplishment and want to share just what it took to make the family reunion happen.
