I did a hard 1400 chop test on my Busse Hellrazor 2. The wood I worked on was a hardwood and crazy to see how the sharp the edge was at the end. My edge was at 18dps and the wood was outside for months. The video is still on my channel. The result you got was not good at all. Thanks for sharing

Very interesting, I’ll definitely go check it out! I definitely expected it to have more edge stability and impact resistance. It still cut well but there was nothing about it that really impressed me. I have this ad20.5 at 16° per side so that could explain some of it and thats why I didn’t want to speak in “absolute” terms. I also haven’t had any other 3v to compare it to so it will be cool to see your testing and get some more perspective on 3v and what it should be able to do! 👊🏼

Love the Demko AD20.5. I got one, with an S90V reblade from transparent knives.. that and my Maxamet Para3 are my 2 most carried knives.

Cool review man. Have you ever owned or considered getting a spyderco mule team blade? Most of their previous mules end up being staple bladesteels in the industry or future sprint run steels. Just snagged a k294 guy they say it's kinda like Bohler's version of 10v😎

Haven’t snagged any of them yet but I’m sure I will when I see something that I think might impress me. Its tough once you experience k390, 15v, maxamet ect… kinda hard to top them in their respective areas of strength!

Yeah me too! I would honestly rate it pretty low for toughness. If I had to guess, they didn’t do a great heat treat on it but that’s just speculation based off this little test.
