@@TheWayne660 man I sure do appreciate you! Yeah, I guess there are lots of worse things we could do then to sit around and listen to Guitars lol. I figure if I’m listening to Guitars, I’m probably doing the world a favor.

Hi Shawn, always enjoy your video’s, and those awesome high end guitars. Question: do these guitars have a slotted bridge? I’ve heard positive results for this, but my luthier won’t do it. Not sure if a slotted bridge adds enough tone to make a difference or if it’s worth it. Would you elaborate and give me your opinion please. Thanks so much for these great guitars, not to mention your exquisite playing to show them off. Excellent choice of tunes.

@@robmiller3464 man I would say about 80% of these have slotted bridges. there are people who say it makes a difference in the tone, and those who don’t, the jury is still out for me to tell you the truth. The other side of the argument, is that there are people who believe that having the ball of the string sit against the plate, and not have much of a chance to be held back by the pin, it’s a lot more healthy and causes a lot less damage for the Guitar. This I absolutely believe, because I have seen some where the strings were not seated properly, and the bridge plate was chewed up looking. there are lots of videos from people of authority, which take both sides of the issue, and I don’t dispute what they have to say. Typically for me, I will choose to have it slotted though.
