LASG needs to set up Anti-Slum unit under the environmental protection ministry. The purpose will be to patrol coastal areas, bridges, train station, estates, etc, to make sure open spaces are not converted to slums. Too much nonsense in Lagos.

It is high time the government started to plan the environment embracing development framework and development plan that would delineate every landuse, guide and control every building proposal. We are infact unable to govern the land. The land is too big for us. You have already demolished the area and then saying they should go and register!!! No no!!! The accounting and full documentation of those living there should have been done 1st! But of cos Nigeria till today has no record of its citizens, no addresses no head count! Big shame
