I got back from the range shooting my PSA AK105, same model as his too and it's well regulated with wolf performance, slightly over gassed as all AKs should be. PSA sometimes regulates gas on their AKs too low for some ammo like Tula. This AK-105 from them is more correct to Russian spec than their previous AKs from the 3 samples I have of various models, I was very impressed with this AK105.

The difficulty in separating the lead .22 bullet from the copper is due to the lead being able to readily alloy itself to many nonferrous metals. Copper being one of them. If you do remove the lead, you will find that some of it is now intimately mingled with the Copper, (copper has all the fun) A fun video, keep making them.

hey. I'm in Australia. I think your news have blown it up into a much bigger issue than it originally was. we were locked down and it fucking sucked, but ultimately worth it. lot of people disagree on whether it was too harsh or a good idea, lots of business suffered, but we had no cases for a long time and a lot of lives were saved, so i think it was worth it. i'm not saying that's the correct answer, just what i think of the whole thing. probably have a different idea if i owned a business eh. right now though? we're free to do whatever we want. I could throw a party and have 100 people come over and it'd be a fucking great time. probably'd get covid tho.

@@MrGoryGlory I’m not sure about statistically useless, i mean, my state (Victoria, where lockdowns were hardest) had 0 cases for weeks in a row at times while yours had millions. If I have to go to work on my computer for a while then I think it’s a pretty good trade off. Again though, I’m in a pretty privileged position where I don’t run a business or have to travel for work. I’m not trying to deny that people were hurt by the lockdowns, but I just think more would have been if they hadn’t locked down. Australian government does have a lot of power over the people, but at the end of the day, we vote them in. If we don’t like what they’re doing, they won’t last long. And they really don’t last too long: I’m 18, in my lifetime we’ve had more than double the prime ministers than you’ve had presidents in the same time period. Like .50 cal is borderline impossible to get down here, AR-15's are kinda the same where yeah they exist here but are super hard to get the license for. I don't know for sure but I don't think you can get any AK platform rifles here either because of our ban on "Military style weapons" and in my opinion the "Military style weapons" are the cooler ones, like i'd love to own historic rifles like the M16 and original Styer AUG, the BAR, FAL, M60, MP5, G3, I think even the M1 Garand is not allowed here.

Hey Matt, I've got a wonderful test for you. Test soft body armor with a mild steel (non-bullet proof metal) plate behind the soft armor to see if it will absorb the impact or cause the round to be able to cut through the soft armor more easily. Ive heard quite a few people now who think it will work to absorb the impact without making the soft armor weaker. I personally believe that it will cause the fired round to more easily penetrate the armor than without the mild steel plate. Can you Please Oh Please test this???!!!

I thought the density of the material is what slows the round down and the way its woven to disperse the energy. Pretty sure some soft body armors are even advertised to be able to use plates while also using soft armor in them. Not an expert on armor but I don't think flexibility is necessarily the most important factor for energy dispersion

Kopper is actually pretty "bendy" and can take massive forces if it has enough space to expand/compress.. This way the copper, although technically weaker than steel will withstand more direct impact force. The power gets transferred differently
