It would be interesting to hear your take on almost any song by Carnifex. They are a blackened deathcore band. Rather than being full on rejecting of Christ, they’re lyrics tend to focus more on mental health and the life of someone who is in a position so bleak they would rather die and spend an eternity in hell than continue to live. Any song off the album Die Without Hope would be a great start.

I spent 20 years as a tattoo artist and quit when God called me to the pastorate. I didn't give up tattooing for the sake of it but only to use that time in preparation for leading a church. DH has been there through the entire journey. I love how you embrace this genre of music. I am a pastor in Oklahoma and a HUGE fan of this band. The depth of the lyrics makes for great sermon outlines backed by biblical application. Keep breaking down stereotypes and building the Kingdom! PEACE TO YOU AS WELL!

Would love to see you guys react to some Oh, Sleeper. They’re a Christian Metalcore band. Probably the one I would pick would be Reveries of Flight. The beginning is someone who is kind of doubting God if He’s really there, and then God responds in the second half of the song. The clean vocalist wrote the first half because he is someone who struggles with his faith, then the scream vocalist heard it and felt called to write a response to it. Very cool and interesting stuff!

Thank you for creating these videos. I listen to metal rock music and my parents, who are very religious Christians, have always looked down on me for that. I've tried to show my mother multiple Christian rock and metal songs from Demon Hunter or Flyleaf, also songs from 5FDP, and they've always told me that the sound alone summons demons and refuse to hear the rest. This has made me even more angry towards mainstream christianity and it's hard for me to listen to my parents talk about God anymore because they are so judgemental. It also takes away from my faith. But it's the music that means the most to me and I still listen to it. So it's really nice to see a pastor react the way you do to these songs. Different from the way so many other Christians tend to look down on me.

@JeSuSpEAkKiNGnow0rN01WiLL5 жыл бұрын
The demon head in demon hunter is actually giving worship to demons like baphomet. Which controls the music industry & they attach principalities to the songs so people will be woeshipping demons & get seduced by satan into not following after Jesus/God's word. Repent of listening to demon slayer. They are on the devil's side! Not God's!
@JeSuSpEAkKiNGnow0rN01WiLL5 жыл бұрын
U dont know how, We are born FALLEN(spiritually dead) & with A Sin NATURE (Satan's heart's rebellious EViL nature,) With SiN having dominion over our SOUL, because, of what Adam did by breaking God's 1 law & then Jesus had to pay the price! Jesus paid for our sins to be forgiven & to set us free from all powers of darkness/Sin/demons, so We can be 1 with God's spirit of pure love(sense SiN/darkness seperates us from God, because, he can't fellowship with evil, sense, he's righteous/good & justful, & now we can go back to the iMAGE & LiKENESS of God & becoming spirtually AliVe by his spirit living in you by you comming into alignment with his SPiRiT threw intimacy in prayer & if you keep his commandments you abide in his amazing love/SPiRiT(He's a spirit of love & that's why we have a conscience & feel bad if we do something wrong to some1 we love & stuff.) & worshipping God threw many ways & praising God helps you build yhe intimacy. An to know the love of God/Jesus that surpasses ALL understanding, is to have the FULLNESS of G0d in You!🔥 An then God will ALWAYS manifest him self threw YoU!😃 Like it was from the beginning. Where we cover the earth in God's GLoRY & love.🙌🏰 An threw faith we get grace to do that.🔥 🤴
@JeSuSpEAkKiNGnow0rN01WiLL5 жыл бұрын
Yes, JESUS did die 4 sinners, but it's 2 set sinners FREE that, were bound by SiN having DominioN over their SOUL, from the law of SiN & death's punishment being over all of man-kind. So humans needed some1 2 pay 4 their SiNs! U must say the prayer of salvation & get saved/delivered\protected/made whole estored/filled with God's SPiRiT (by asking Jesus's SPiRiT in yr heart) & born again(become fully born of God & nothing else to where all yr actions are God's actions!) Like how it's God's heart that, gets me to reach out to people & it's God tying to save his children threw me!😃

“Where is the enemy when death is on my side.” I love, love, love that. Our God’s scarier than the enemy. Death is defeated.

Oh yes! Oh yes! And just in time for the holiest days of the Christian year, very appropriate. I'm absolutely in love with these albums. Fantastic work by DH!

Rocko Lloyd , here from Nebraska!! , I've always loved this band from the first moment I heard it when I heard not ready to die, I immediately took what money I had and bought the album, but what you say about this genre music being more honest than others ring true with me I've always felt that way and I agree wholeheartedly I subscribed and will keep listening in to your great reviews God bless.

Im glad to see other people who were introduced to metal by such an awesome band. I remember that my brother played demon hunter to sleep at night and I would cry because I thought that it was satanic. I came from a very religious family but now I always listen to DH all the time. BTW please choose me!!!!!!!!
