I find it interesting how most chinese fantasy/mythical movies have a yin and yang theme in them. The heaven which is ultimately viewed as good is evil and the hell which is viewed evil is good. I noticed this theme in the other movie recap too.

Cause it’s not trying to emulate real life. It’s CGI on CGI and with real life sets to give them more a sense of depth and movement as opposed to being the entire set itself.
