I did the second part by standing inside the archway leading in the castle, locking on and shooting the dragon in the head as he swayed it into and out of the bow's angle of attack. Your strat is way easier and probably wastes less arrows in the second phase than how I did it.

There's actually no dragons in Demon's Souls. The red and blue "dragons" are actually drakes. Drakes have two limbs and two wings. Dragons have four limbs and two wings.

Considering every boss in this game, the two drakes, and the maiden in black are all demons, i would say theres absolutely no dragons in this game

Playing through the original right now, this video is by far the one that got straight to the point and showed how to dodge the flames most effectively. I combined this with the Kunai method just to make it go a little bit faster while shooting arrows and also helps if your bow isn't fully upgraded

You absolutely can shoot it from the doorway. I was just doing it. Granted, your arrows will do very little damage (my bow does 256 damage and I was hitting it for 20 damage,) so it's not worth it, but you totally can shoot it and damage it from the doorway.

I've killed all the bosses in boletaria and I have never seen the blue dragon move from his original spot. Only the red one. Even when I'm directly behind him my arrows don't do anything to him. Is there something I'm missing?

There is a lever where the dragon is sitting. Pull it and the shortcuts opens :) Easy to miss

Unfortunately not. There is one for the red dragon but it seems unintended. Looks like the developers did not want you to kill the dragons, just bypass them. Their dropped souls seem to be a reward in case someone decides to spend half an hour shooting them with arrows and spells.

I was trying to shoot it with arrows in 1-1 or 1-2, at its nest, but the arrows go right through it. How incredibly cheap. If they don't want us to kill it here then they need to think of a better way to prevent it. Making it "incorporeal" is the peak of laziness.

I'm sure you know by now but no, that's not how you pass him. You just time his fire breath then run. By the time you get to the middle, he'll be doing another one on the same path behind you but you keep running and when he breaths on the other side, you'll be inside the doorway by then. You just have to not get stopped or hit by the fat officials there or his fire breath will definitely hit you and you won't recover.
