The storm only makes the fight with the storm king much more epic than the original, the lightning lighting up the sky, the mantas flying over our heads, the crying of the mantas, the rain stops when this incredible creature is above us, the ost, everything in this fight is perfect

All of the aesthetics are just og Demon's Souls, but superior, brought to life using modern tools and technology, making Demon's Souls everything it could've been given a larger budget and resource pool.

Stormruler isn't required to beat Storm King, it's there for pure melee build so that they don't get fucked over for not having a way to actually fight the boss. Bows and magic are for people who didn't go pure melee, and instead gave themselves a ranged option.

The Shrine of Storms definitely got the best aesthetic change in the remake. I like the original's flat and lifeless look, but I love how chaotic everything feels now, especially considering the fact we now have actual storms and not just heavy winds. Also, the sound design is on point.

actually no, my first playthrough i was going with magic build and i had to hit him the normal manta 3 times to kill it. I had to kill the boss with the Storm Ruller, wich is the right way to do it. This dude in the video just cheesed out of almost every single boss, making it look stupid. And that's crap. He obtained up the most powerful weapon just in the beggining, the enchant sorcery and its overleved as fuck. That's not a normal damage

Even has a message on the floor saying that "in order to kill the storm king you'll need the storm ruler". The video's boss fight is basically a cheese method, but its clearly not what the developers of the game was thinking of. Especially on a first playthrough.
