honestly the compression hurts, plus the fact that these are still images, the advantage of the ps5 pro over the quality mode of the ps5 is that its running at double the framerate, the biggest advantage then is that you get good graphical fidelity even during action scenes. Many people wont care, but enthusiasts will and thats who this product is for.

PSSR improves image quality which means you aren’t even getting the same level of detail even at the same resolution, you don’t get any of the new ray tracing features which means a lot of games wont look as good , and the stable frame rate. People also ignored the part where Sony said its a more powerful GPu which means if game developers wanted to improve the graphics they can do that where as on base ps5 they can’t

If you watch the video on 4K at fullscreen (even if you have 1080p display, 4K youtube will look better because of the compression), then you will easily able to tell the difference. If you pause at 2:33 for example, you will see that castle on base mode PS5 (performance mode) looks blurry and rocks look less detailed

Duh, unless you can watch a KZbin video with 4k resolution or the same resolution the game is producing and the same frame rates. Then you would see the real difference. This game is one that literally does native 4k 60fps thanks to PSSR. Spiderman 2 does 4k 60fps plus with full raytracing. The base Ps5 can't do that. Trust me on a 120HZ OLED 4k Hdmi 2.1 TV, you see the significant difference between the 2.

I was just trying this out on the Pro and the difference is pretty big considering its 4k(PSSR+DRS)60fps. Running on a 48" screen the PSSR really cleans up the image. Id recommend this one if you've bought a Pro 👍
