I have never followed a walkthrough before because I think that kills your experience and immersion but this game has been kicking my ass and I never played this genres before. this game doesn't really explain a lot and after few hours in I was still lost and didn't understood some things so I looked up a video because I got stuck on one of the bosses and I came across your video. I have platinum god of war before on give me god of war difficulty so I don't mind the challenge but this is a different ball game. respawning all the way back to the beginning of the realm after you die can be so frustrating and killing all these enemies all over again I was getting inpatient but seeing your videos and hearing your tips has helped me so much that im starting to love this game. I truly appreciate your hardwork and helping a newcomer like me to make things more enjoyable. after im done with this walkthrough I'll go back and redo the game with a different class and do it on my own. you're awesome and im happy to have subscribed to you!👍👍

Great Guide as usual Cowboy! Still no idea when I ever will get a PS5 but watching to remember the game. I played this on PS3 and PS4. I thought for my first playthrough I go with the build I used on initial release, when I had no idea what I was doing: the heaviest armor and shield I could find and the winged spear. Block and poke from behind the shield, that's how I first beat it, I didn't even know about the different roles!

Ima say this cuz I wish somebody said it to me starting out: Invest points in only vitality, endurance, and strength (and/or dex depending on your weapon of choice) and take enemies one on one whenever you can so you don't get mobbed... when hours of frustration pay off with that first big W you'll be hooked.

man i swear they changed how the vanguard demon fights since this walkthrough was put up cos ive tried about 15 times to do just as cowboy says and that big old chubby just keeps backing into corners till i cant get round to his butt no more.

I'm not one to usually comment, but thanks for these videos. I could never get into souls games but I got Demons Souls on a deal and decided to jump back in. I used the first couple videos of your walkthrough to help me out and they have been excellent. Just beat the Tower Knight and made it up to the boss of 2-1. Going in blind now let's see how well I do 😅. Keep up the quality vids.

@@irradiatedbadger yea it's the same game. The ps5 has a few qol (quality of life) improvements (such as sending items directly to the storage) but the game and gameplay itself is pretty much identical. People are kinda shocked at just how identical they are.

@@irradiatedbadger Yes they are, unfortunately a lot of sites like Gamefaqs have deleted the PS3 discussions/faqs etc... I stopped at new game +4 with a unbeatable Winged Spear, purple shield build. That gamefaqs faq was a top end guild IMO. But memory fails when I can’t remember the armor. I feel back then it was fashion souls at the end because I was glasscannon ,Everything I’ve seen from Cowboy... yes it’s still gonna wreck when you know this game like the back of your hand.

Don’t forget that if you’re human you can still be invaded while in photo mode... found that out the hard way, lost 5k souls when I went to take a leak.
