“Why doesn’t she take off that bamboo muzzle?” Yes, a good question (which the show does not directly address). But if you think about it, Nezuko’s hands are free and she’s intelligent enough to easily take off the bamboo muzzle if she wanted to. So I figure it’s there symbolically to remind her that she must not attack and eat humans ever. I like to think that she has accepted this and allows the muzzle to stay in place.

bamboo of nezuko 's mouth is just like a little saftey protect for other people so that nezuko can't bite them accidently. And reason for speed of the other demon slayer ( ep 1 sword guy) is because he is top level demon slayer and his speed is far greater than any normal human.

just want to inform you, that the 2nd season of demon slayer was aired at the same time as attack on titan season 4 part 1 (the latest season that was aired).. and that was like Christmas for the anime community.. because the animation, especially, is very outstanding and the plot of both stories got to its peak (so far) other than that, great reaction guys.. just a friendly reminder that demon slayer got expensive animation right there..😭 and its gonna get more expensive (literally), especially the 2nd season..

Actually here most of the PPL understood it wrong..let me say the anime or manga didn't properly explained us about the muzzle thing ...yk nezuko has the intelligence and free hands which she can herself remove the muzzle but it's like symbolical that she accepted not to bite PPL and prioritised to keep that on...hope that helps you explain there are a lot of symbolical in demon slayer
