@@shadowace6059 season 3 might start in this years fall, if you look at Ufotable’s timing, they began airing Demon Slayer in the fall of 2019, the Movie came out in the fall of 2020, this season came out last year (2021) during the fall, and most likely season 3 will come out in this years fall or in winter, so we don’t have to wait a year for it to start airing. Let’s hope it happens like this

Season 2* this is still counted as season 2 its just the second cour of the season if it was season 3 we would be waiting a year nobody releases seasons back to back this fast bruh people usually do this with 20 episode seasons and break it down into cours just because it's a new arc doesnt make it a new season the current season 2 episode count is 18 episodes season 2 still has 7 more episodes to go and swordsmith village will take about 7 episodes just like mugen train did tbh they will prob make it 6 episodes and make the last episode that mini training arc with the rock piller and setup for season 3 the final arc that's the perfect time to end the season so that's not at the beginning of season 3

@@quislamont no it isnt every seasom with 20 episodes or so has 2 cours a course usually ends when its reached the 13 or so episode mark and then it's the second cour if this really was season3 why would they have. A trailer so fast ? Seasons dont air in the same year for high budget anime it usually takes a year or more and they wouldnt show a trailer if it was that far off they immediately showed the trailer when daki arc ended and in a month or so they will probably show the animation trailer for it they are prob taking a 2-3 month break inbetween cours and then this will air also why would season 2 have only 18 or 19 episodes ? That's a really weird number to stop on season 1 had 26 so I assume they are sticking with it like and this is a short arc it's not enough content in the arc to fit it into a 13 episode or so mini season this legit just the second cour of season 2 do some research on this stuff they worked on both this and daki arc basically at the same time they nobody works on seasons back to back like that animation studios usually show a trailer for season 2 1st cour which was the daki arc and the arc oriented trailer we saw months ago and then they immediately show the second cour arc after that arc finishes and take a few months break then air it and that's a season MHA does it nearly every season with 24 episodes or say splits there season into two cours it's nothing new man they even did back in season 1 demon slayer
