So the whole Rooster Teeth collapse came down to multiple things. The main RT brand wasn't exactly putting out content like they had in the past, with them only really doing their podcast. The RT cast that had been sort of successful tried making a subsidiary channel that was supposed to be funny/creative but they ended up being more reactionary rather than innovative when it comes to trends. As for the animation department problems, RWBY 's "decline"? was due to 2 main things Monty's death and the treatment of animators at RT. Monty Om who was the creator of it and was really good at writing the story as well as choreographing the action scenes died tragically. That left Miles and Kerry in charge of the project and they took over the story and direction, and a lot of people didn't like the story telling change / new direction they took it. The company was also over working and underpaying the animators for like 2 years before something came out and they started treating them better. The company also tried making a second anime, Gen Lock, with huge names like Michael B. Jordan, Maisie Williams, and David Tenet. It flopped super hard cause of the massive mismanagement that project had, apparently had people in senior level positions that had no business being there. They did however have an anime podcast that slapped and is still a really good watch to go back to, but it wasn't profitable enough for corporate cause it was stopped after like 2 years. When it comes to Achievement Hunter, Danny was right they didn't pivot away from weekly Minecraft until it was way to late. They got stuck putting out the same 5 videos for years cause the fans didn't support them trying to pivot into anything else for a long while. The year they had started to pivot, 2019-2020, they did put out a bunch of good original content, but at the end of 2020 one of their main cast Ryan got caught messing with kids and that put a huge stain on the brand. 2021 they started bringing in younger people to stay "hip", but it was too late and most people had either grown out of their content or had left when the Ryan incident occurred. Also even though they invented the Let's Play format they were never the biggest fish , and never invited the other big players in the space to collab which I think hurt them. Overall a sad tale of a company with poor management and not sticking with a changing landscape. Maybe VIZ will be able to make RWBY great again.

There is this thing called effects animation (explosion,sparks,etc) The animator of the scene(gyomei one)Nozomu Abe also did tengen v gyutaro ,rengoku's final attack,zenitsu's attack (1st two from S1),hinokami ring v rui,etc. As you can see he specialises in effects animation also those are 2D HAND DRAWN effects and not digitally added so like it ir not that is his style Do check his work on sakugabooru if you are interested

I was listening to one of Nick’s Demon Slayer videos while cleaning the house with my wife and he casually mentions “a major character’s death” in Naruto, thus spoiling said death for my wife who was watching Shippuden with me a couple times a week. I have to say this is that I became an audio first fan and liked most of the stuff as it kept me up during my 12 hour graveyard shift. This pod showed me that Nick isn’t just a guy who hates Sasuke, he’s worse. 😂😂😂. This pod introduced me to Danny who I when I first listened thought he was some fat podcaster (guys on wrestling podcasts have his voice with that build type.). I want to say thanks for the laughs and encouragement. This, The Honored Ones Podcast (best JJK podcast in the entire universe.), and maybe Keeping it 9000 has kind of spurred me on to make podcasts again. I don’t know if anyone could match the matchless cold open that you have though. Again, thanks for the entertainment and all that yawl do. Hope the rest of the second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year, decade, century, and even eternity is amazing.

Muzan anatomy is addressed in the flash back of him almost dieing to the first demon slayer in the tengen arc they showed he had muti hearts and that he had to destroy all of them he almost succeeded made hin blow up into 1300 pieces and gave muzan permanent ptsd lol

Monty died of an allergic reaction. It was sudden and that's why the show took a sharp nosedive as they had to pivot fast. They had people dedicated to the project that wanted to continue the show the way it was, but RT fired them. The big one made a company called DIlangoo (does fantastic genshin impact animations) who wanted to buy RWBY. The actually just released the final season of Red vs Blue (more of a movie) which offers a retcon ending that allows fans to disregard the past couple seasons not written by Burnie (the original writer) if they want. It's actually quite a nice sendoff for the final piece of content Rooster Teeth made. There are several seasons that can be stopping points as they never knew when Bungie/Microsoft would stop them from making more. The allegations included firing Vic Mignogna (voice of Edward Elric (FMA) and Qrow (RWBY)) over something that was latter proven to be a lie and something one of the Achievement Hunter cast did. Basically a lost them a ton of good will. The big thing is they kept hemorrhaging members until almost none of the core people you would see in their content was left. Usually it was because they disagreed with how the parent company was running things. Their audience grew up and stopped watching the content they kept making which was stuck in the past of how things worked in the 2010s. And when they tried to make new shows, (Dogbark) or animated content (Nomade of nowhere, Gen: lock) they just failed to find their mark. RWBY was their breadwinner at this point but there were absolutely TONS of reasons why both it and the company were inevitably going to fail.
