In case y'all didn't notice, Karen left a special message in the description. DDK has come pretty far from nothing to something and y'know she like to be real humble but sometimes she got peeps to rumble with and music is where they tumble. You and Teddy made something real damn cool here and i'm behind it 1000%

That's what I like about Karen. She doesn't know it. But her being this transparent about her inner struggles makes her really approachable, and to me, it's very important. The people who are honest with themselves are usually the most relatable.

Trigger finger towards the mess I made mentally, I take a shot and put the glass down. Descend into a world where I dont spend every minute behind a screen, some of my favorite lines from Dark Hour. I really like the transition from shooting herself in the head to drinking alcohol within a single sentence, nice word play/imagery. According to DDK so long as she can continue making music like this then she can cope with the pressures of being a "waitress at applebishes" adn thens eh's like you what Im talking about, we all know, its nothing special, no big secret. Also "take the meds", I figured she was on antidepressants, not sure if thats a confirmation though.

@@scorcher117 She said on multiple instances that she uses music to vent everything and that we shouldn't worry, since she is all good after getting it all out. @@SoapSoapCrayon Those have long been 2 fave albums, but I've come around to really enjoying her new stuff: Especially Dark Hour, Take the Bait and my new favorite: Sedai no Scream I kinda miss the commentary on the music industry and soceity that her older stuff had like Dice of a Generation or Sick Outta Fashion, but I also really like hearing about whats going on in her head and her problems. so even though Wanting, getting, wanting wasnt my favorite (as much, they're all great) I did really like the lyrics. I also kidna miss the style of stuff like Wannabe: the painfully self aware diss track or the whacky whimsicality of Appaseyo and DemonDice was Here or the cool spacejam: Legendary Stray and so many others.

When I heard this song live, DEMONDICE was soo passionate on performing on the stage, and it became my new fave DDK song. Soo glad I can now listen to this epic track endlessly! I just love how you blend the EN and JP lyrics flawlessly! It's true, we are always ever changing. We can't save everyone and we will always hurt someone. If we try to please everyone, then we would hurt ourselves and lose our identity/purpose. Also screaming is a way of expressing yourself and also helps from pressure/anxiety. At least that's what I got from this song. Our time is truly the "Sedai no Scream". Keep your music and passion alive, DDK!❤‍🔥

This one of those songs that makes your soul fly. Inspiration oozes from it and warmth crawls from the center of your chest outwards. The impact it has is insane you feel the hardship in every syllable and yet, it's not sappy and it's not a sobstory like other songs about hardship turn into sometimes. What it gives you is perspective, not to make you feel bad but to help you understand where they're coming from, that there's a human behind the screen. People tend to forget that just because they entertain us doesn't mean they exist solely for that purpose. They're not court jesters dancing for us, they're people with powerful emotions that can turn those emotions into powerful words. I'm not gonna sit here and say that she's the fastest rapper, or the most clever with rhymes, but I can say with full confidence she's my favorite musical artist for this reason. Not only does her music hit harder than the realization that your parents were not, in fact, wrestling; She's also able to kinda tap you on the shoulder and say "hey I'm still human I still have feelings" in a way that's not awkward, which becomes more and more rare as time goes on. She's dedicated as hell, and that's something you can't say about many people any more. Not only has she actively proven time and time again, that she knows how to make something actually worth putting into one of those ten hour loop videos; she also knows how to make a point that sticks in your head. That's why she earns my sincerest respect and the respect of plenty other people too. Oh and Teddy is cool too ig

Absolutely outstanding work, DDK. Not only was the song incredible, but that MV is sick as hell. I love the complicated emotions of the song, wanting to be a good influence people, but not wanting to be beholden to others' expectations. I also love the struggling of identity between wanting to be a good person, but also being uncertain and unsatisfied with your own identity. But, the fact that the song resolves with a more confident owning of yourself and your identity really felt like a beautiful sense of triumph. These are the kind of stories and emotional journeys that make me really love your music, DDK. Magnificent work here. Definitely some of your finest work.

I have to say DDK, your content is one of the biggest inspirstions to me in life. Each song just hits so damn hard. And the effort you put into it all is just so respectable. This song specifically just blew me away, it's very different from all your other songs yet you managed to nail it perfectly, hell this song instantly entered my list of "songs that might be my favourite". The harmony of the chorus really hits ya and the visuals supplement that further. I love how the lyrics talk about "internet culture" and how the "competition" of garnering fame and its consequences have made massive issues on both the consumers and the "stars" since even though it's a massively prevelant topic I don't really see much discussion on it in depth

Loved this! As someone who also makes music and has found out that creativity might well be a psychological need, this hits so hard. The talk of how we can't be shining and perfect and everything at once despite people telling us we have to be, how the media's searchlights are always on for the next dramatic thing or scary thing that sells, and can and will use any distortion possible to make people turn on someone as long as it's not them, and how despite the world being painful and how it feels like we have to hide, we still live on. Our hearts continue to beat, and the question of who "myself" is and what parts of that we're ready to be. "I don't wanna be anybody else / But that doesn't mean I'd just rather be myself" - This hits hard to me. Maybe it's just how every few days I feel the sense of "maybe it'd be better if I weren't... well.... me", but who? Who would I be if anyone else? I don't know. The accidentally found self is also quite interesting! Seeing someone you know under a different lighting or in a different place can feel completely not what you're used to, or maybe familiar in a surprising way. Maybe it's comforting. Maybe it's just a shock. I don't know what others feel, but we continue to create.

Absolute knockout of a track, everything complimented each other perfectly and the change-ups gave me brain tingles. I hope you stay in music for as long as I have ears.

DD never fails to deliver the hype. This was an awesome moment during the Constellations Vol. 1 show and now we have an awesome MV to go with the Spotify release. Keep on rockin' DD!

I’m not so prone to appear in comments and I respect whatever decision DDK has and will do. The only thing I know it that her music has driven me out of shadows and some dark places, it’s been a 2 and half years journey so far and I don’t intend to jump off the bus. Wherever she’ll go I’ll follow. This one was a dedicated song and I’m astounded by the energy she can put out even though she’s so stuck in schedules and jobs, it’s amazing. And she does for all of her audience; I’m so grateful. And no one has the rights to tell the artist what they want and they don’t want to see

Woah! I freaking love the style of this video! The mix of nostalgic fx and filters overlaid on that irreplaceable DDK art really complements the synth vibes and psychs me up! Live shows are awesome, but I love all the details I'm noticing now with the studio version! It's definitely a different sound--thanks to the partnership with TeddyLoid--yet it's (of course) a banger all the same! Definitely gonna be rewatching this video again and again, and could totally see myself grooving to this song on the dance floor. Thanks to Demon and Teddy for the hot new track, and big ups to EchoMotion for a video really well done!

This song is fantastic! Love the music and your Vocal. And gosh that MV is just incredible! I really enjoy the lyrics of this song. (I may be off for the meaning, but hey that's my initial take) "Instead of fitting into the mould society wants you to be in, break away and just be yourself." That's a great message and reminds me of "You're an Ace, Kid.", which is a song that brought me into this rabbit hole and inspired me to take the first step. Thanks for the song, Demondice Keep Screaming!

Does anyone else kind of think the second half of this song, or I guess, like the last third? Just sounds like something you'd hear in the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack? Like just, orchestral music that induces fear immediately followed by very heavy bass lines, like that chunk, without lyrics, I could almost guarantee you would fit in perfectly as combat music for that game.

A combination of both an amazing and stellar vocals! Your combo with Teddy sounds incredible. I also really like the little sample of Obsydia's "Black Out" in the beginning.

Literally, from the works I've listened to, I'm glad she's starting to add/apply lyrics that holds her vocals. Like singing longer notes and stuff or just singing in general.
